Le logement

The main bedroom has a king bed, walk out deck, full bath (shower and clawfoot tub) plus a washer and dryer in the main bathroom. The loft area has a queen size bed surrounded by mountain views and a sitting library. The second bedroom of the loft has a full bed, and low light (for those who like to sleep in!). The two loft bedrooms share a full bath with shower.

Guests will have access to the home and the garden surrounding the home. Access to the animals may be permitted with the owners presence and permission only. Access to the Cackle Berry Chicken Coop is allowed so you may collect fresh eggs!

Property owner lives on premises and takes daily care of the animals (horses, sheep, chickens, dog). The owner is a Paradise Valley native and is a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of the area as well as current activities and "things to do"

The Paradise Valley area Montana is a rural playground smack in between the grandeur of Yellowstone National Park and the bustling college town of Bozeman and it's neighbor, the quaint and quirky town of Livingston.

Montana is a rural place and you'll need a car here! There is parking for up to three vehicles near the home. If you are hauling a trailer, RV or other over-sized vehicle you must let us know prior to booking.

The home is situated on a working ranch; expect sheep, horses, chickens and a dog - the animals are abundant and adorable!
We are dog friendly and allow up to two, well behaved and clean dogs in the home, the dog fee is $15 per night per night. (we please recommend your dog is on a flea treatment and males dogs must be neutered).

If you want to chill on a beautiful , small ranch setting , you couldn't ask for a better place . Horses, sheep, cattle, and a chicken coop (with one duck ). And mountains in every direction . It is in the middle of proverbial nowhere , so consider this a good thing . Robert and Lorna were fabulous hosts. We just loved it .

Heaven on earth. We had a vision in our head of what Montana was going to be like and this ranch met those expectations. The ranch was really incredible. We're so grateful for having stumbled upon it. It was comfortable and beautiful and we loved the area. We frequented the BBQ place in Emigrant a lot and went to Yellowstone every weekend. I fly fish so the location was perfect. Fly Fishing opportunities exist on the Yellowstone River, Mill Creek, Big Creek, all 3 spring creeks and inside the park. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and give you your privacy. We were able to disconnect here, gaze at the stars and create memories that we'll have for the rest of our lives.

Lorna's house is beautifully situated, with incredible views of the mountains and this agricultural valley. You'll stay smack in the middle of a small working farm: the house's windows look out on horses, chickens and grazing cows and sheep. The furnishings are eclectic and very western. In terms of our stay, Lorna and her boyfriend were friendly and helpful, with suggestions about local hikes and things to do. You'll definitely need a car to get around.

Beautifully decorated house. Plenty of room. The kids loved playing with the puppy and cats. Close to Yellowstone and great fishing!

This was a special experience. We brought three children ages 8 to 13 and they loved it. The house was wonderful with many details to make you live the cowboy experience. The ranch had cows, sheep, chickens, cats and dog to entertain the kids. It was great to get up in the morning and sit on the covered front porch and enjoy the beautiful views. Access to many activities was less than 1 hour away. We went whitewater rafting, ziplining, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, and picnicking on the beach near the river. I highly recommend this property.

We had a great week in Paradise Valley -- the house is surrounded by farm and animals -- horses, sheep, chickens, cows, cats and dogs and we were greeted by a basket of fresh eggs from the coop. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable and we loved the experience of staying on the farm. It was about 25 minutes from the town of Livingston, 35 minutes from the North gate of Yellowstone and just 5 minutes from the tiny town of Emigrant, where there's a bakery, bbq and a fly fishing shop. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful in summer.

We can't add much more to what has already been said. The place is amazing at every level and made our Yellowstone trip extra special.

Born and raised in Iowa on the Mississippi river. After college I moved to San Francisco where I enjoyed life for 8 years at which point I discovered paradise in Montana and the Paradise Valley area. I split my time between the San Francisco Bay area and Montana.
In Montana, I manage a few of my friends vacation rentals in the area, so you may meet me or you may meet one of the homeowners when you a book a stay through me, rest assured these are women I trust and whom I call friends!
