A spacious, warm, family friendly, traditional apartment in the heart of Edinburgh, with excellent bus, tram and rail links, free WIFI, constant hot water and wine on arrival! Plus there are lots of DVDs, books and toys to help you relax.
This property is within a traditional Edinburgh tenement, with high ceilings, wooden floors, original fireplaces, large windows and original working shutters on the bedroom windows. There is a lovely large dining kitchen for cooking and socialising, a good size lounge with WIFI, cable tv, books, games and toys. Also, a bathroom (constant hot water) and separate shower room with toilet. There is one twin room and a family room (double bed and bunk beds).
We want you to have a super stay in Edinburgh and have left lots of useful things in the apartment to help with that including umbrellas (!!!), towels, toiletries and of course a well equipped kitchen.
Families will be pleased to note there is a travel cot, two highchairs, lots of toys and CBeebies on the TV!
Edinburgh offers plenty to do including the Royal Botanic Gardens, The Royal Yaucht Britannia, Our Dynamic Earth, Arthur's Seat, Holyrood Palace, The Royal Mile & Castle, Camera Obscura, Princes Street Gardens, The Museum of Scotland, The People's Story, The Museum of Childhood, The National Gallery of Modern Art, Murrayfield Rugby Stadium, - and much more, most within easy walking distance of the flat. The postcode is EH3 8EB.
Morrison Street is a few minutes walk from Princes Street and from Haymarket Station, with direct bus and tram links from Edinburgh International Airport. About 10 minutes taxi ride from Waverley Railway Station.
The apartment is situated within a traditional sandstone tenement building with secure entry phone and is adjacent to many amenities, including shops, restaurants and bars. It is steps away from the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and a few minutes' walk to Princes Street, the West End, Edinburgh Castle, the Grassmarket and much more.
Please note, this is an original Edinburgh Tenement. There is one flight of steps up to the apartment and these have been well trodden over 100 or so years and are uneven.

Our guests have free run of the entire apartment and all the electronics and kitchen equipment required to make their stay comfortable and easy. We also provide linen and some towels.

Please note, that we do not take bookings more than a few months ahead of your arrival date. So, please do get in touch nearer the time if your date shows up as unavailable.
The cleaning fee is levied to cover the laundering of all bedding and towels. We expect guests to leave the apartment clean and tidy as they will find it.
The shower works best on the 'eco' setting without Airburst, as the water pressure can be variable because the flat is in a tenement building. There is constant hot water.
Please be respectful of our lovely neighbours and no smoking.
Additional charges will be levied if smoking is carried out in the apartment.
There are no pets allowed within the accommodation.
