Bataan Technopark was the site of the former Philippine Refugee Processing Center which cared for hundreds of thousands of Indo-Chinese refugees "boat people" that made there way to the shores of the Philippines from 1975 to 1992. There are many Vietnamese, Khmer and Lao monuments left by the refugees that can be found all over the camp. The place is ideal for hiking and biking. The Museum explaining the area is located near our building.
The Kanawan Aeta (indigenous) Village is near Bataan Technopark and is a 40 minute hike to the village via a hanging bridge. We can arrange expert Aeta guides for those who want to trek and explore the nearby Bataan Forest park. There are two waterfalls accessible through mountain trails.
The Pawikan (Sea Turtle) Center is 20 minutes drive from our building. The center gathers the eggs of Sea Turtles that come to the Morong beaches. The eggs are protected, incubated, hatched and released to the sea. It is a once in a lifetime experience to witness the release of hatchlings to the sea.

The place is remote in a forest. Private Transport is needed. Very peacefull and quiet with helpful and friendly staff. Interesting little Boat People Museum and a Pope John Paul shrine is in the same compound. Long time ago, the location served as a processing facility for Vietnamese Boat People and was visited by the Pope.

It was awonderful stay although we stayed just for a night. Everyone was so helpful and quick to respond. We would love to go back with the whole family as the beach cove is also a good place for kids. Very calm and clean.

The staff was all accomodating. We ordered food around 10pm and they still cooked for us, the food was great and they entertain all our inquiries. It just quite scary at night when we arrive very dark going to the place :D

Overall very satisfied with our experience at Antonio's place. We felt very welcome, communication was very good. Caretaker was onsite the whole time and catered to our needs. We stayed in two studios which were very clean. The place is off the beaten path, very peaceful and close to nature. Antonio arranged for a guide to take us on a hike to a native Aeta village, which we really enjoyed.
