Something special and different: a more than 100 years old house with beautiful floors (so that you are asked to put your shoes off). You`re feeling a little bit like being in an old castle in the Scottish Highlands. The surroundings are quite a contrast: quite deep in the backcountry, lonely but lovely place with quite a lot of (wild) animals around. Very personal and warm atmosphere !!! Fine breakfast, so helpful hosts and the garden surroundings: beautiful. Swimming pool included. A pity, we only had booked for one night. Highly recommended !

My husband and I were at SECL for 5 days and wish we could have stayed longer. Our stay was beautiful, restful, extremely enjoyable time there. Denny is the perfect host: after our seamless check-in process, she greeted us every morning with a gracious and happy welcome and a delicious homemade breakfast of yummy culinary wonders including delicious coffee! She looked after us and checked in each day to see if we needed anything, and answered all our questions about the local scene immediately. Our accommodations were spotless, comfortable and just right for our needs. The lodge and grounds are beautiful and of historic interest. The pool was also wonderful! We wholeheartedly recommend SCEL as a true treasure of a destination very worth your while!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sasquatch Crossing Eco Lodge. Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The property is picturesque and our room was quaint. I recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area.

Denny and Al were fantastic hosts. My wife and I went three days on a golf trip (we played Sandpiper GC on Saturday, and The Falls on Sunday). The Lodge was welcoming and spacious. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious all three days. The short, hour and a half drive from North Vancouver (along HWY 7) was beautiful during sunset. The stories shared about the local community, family history and origins of the house were enlightening as well, adding to our weekend. Adding to the excitement was a family of black bears, one of which we caught a glimpse of while walking on a trail nearby. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Denny and Al!

I am a Sts'ailes First Nation woman who was born on this land. I manage the B&B for Sts'ailes with my husband Al. I enjoy sharing the rich history and culture of my people with our guests and learn all about them too! We both love to cook and want to serve breakfasts beyond the expectations of our guests, no matter what dietary restriction is present. When we travel we expect a very high level of service and we take pride in our ability to provide the same. Many strangers arrive at our door but only friends leave...
