À propos de ce logement
Dar Nora is located in the center of the medina, close to restaurants with every type of food available in Essaouira. Our street is close to all the best shops, the beach and Skala- the best place to see the sunset. We are located on a clean and quiet street but there is always live music nearby. We are near the grand plaza and the beach, both sites for the major stages of the Gnaoua festival.
From Bab Marrakech and the Supratours bus station:
---look at our photos for a map of these instructions----
Enter through Bab Marrakech. Walk STRAIGHT down the street, rue Mohamed El Quorry. It is a narrow street with many shops and people. All of the streets to your left and right are as small or smaller and with few shops until you pass through two archways and reach the big main street, Avenue Oqba Ibn Nafiaa. Ibn Nafiaa is much wider; you will see clothing shops on your right and another archway on your left. You will not turn. Continue STRAIGHT until you reach the second main street, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, more narrow but with many shops. Here you will TURN LEFT. On your left you will see a small bakery selling fried sweets and on your right a tobacco shop. Walk a few blocks and look for a yellow sign high up on the left side. It says Kawtar Immobilier, it is a real estate company with an office on the corner of our street. Just beneath it is another yellow sign directing you to turn left to go to Restaurant Fedrouss. TURN LEFT, this is rue Abdessalam Lebadi. You will see signs and pass Luxpa Spa and Hotel Orange Cannelle. Dar Nora is at the very end of the street on the LEFT. We have a newly painted dark blue door with a brass #33 on it and a small sign. Welcome!

I was born in North carolina and I lived and studied in Northern California for 10+ years. I have been in Essaouira for about 5 years now. My husband and I have a little girl, Nora, 2, and a new baby, Salim, born in November. We love the life here and enjoy sharing Essaouira and our home with our guests.
