We call this our Brendan Behan studio named after the infamous poet and novelist.

Refurbished to an extremely high standard this Victorian apartment has all the classic charm of years gone by but has all the modern comforts of today.

A beautifully bright apartment it has a bay window overlooking the city of Dublin with wonderful views of the mountains and surrounding area.

We have maintained some of the original features such as the marble fireplace and the high ceilings with coving. This gives a feeling of space and airiness that is hard to find in modern accommodations.

All of our apartments are fully equipped with microwave, cooker, fridge, iron, ironing board and hairdryer to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as can be. Laundry facilities are available for anyone that needs them.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you would need for self catering and we provide freshly laundered bed linen and towels.
Maps information and leaflets are provided in the apartment to help guests choose the best sights and things to do and see while staying there.

There is an excellant bus service right outside the front door so you can reach downtown in 10 minutes or less. If you prefer to walk it's a 30 minute stroll.

We are just a 3 minute walk from the supermarket which also has a pharmacy, bakery and butchers so you will have everything you need.

There are some lovely restuarants just 10 minute walks away and some wonderful pubs that play Irish music nightly.

The famous Guinness Storehouse is close at hand as well as the Jameson Distillery both of which run tours regularly and are worth a visit. Dublin is also renowned for it's famous Temple bar area for entertainment which is a bus ride away.

For art lovers the Irish Museum of Modern Art is 15 minutes away and the National Museum of Ireland is 10 minutes away.
Trinity College, Kilmainham Gaol, Ryan's Victorian Pub, St. Patricks Cathedral, are just some other of the many wonderful attractions that are available.

If you enjoy a stroll in the park then you are perfectly located to visit the beautiful Phoenix Park which has a playground and houses Dublin Zoo. It is well worth a visit and is only an 8 minute walk away.

For a small fee we can provide an airport transfer if requested and for anyone hiring a car there is free on street parking right outside the house.

All utilities and WiFi are included in the price also.

I manage to meet most guests on arrival but if I can't I nearly always get to meet them before they check out.
If I'm unable to meet guests I will email detailed instructions of where to find the keys.

This street is a beautifully tree lined street which runs right up the the entrance of the Phoenix Park.
This park is the largest urban park in Europe and houses Dublin Zoo and the presidential home and offices as well as a children's playground. It is a wonderful park to visit and spans over 1750 acres.
The street also has beautiful Victorian red bricked houses all along it which date back to the 18th century so it really is a taste of old Dublin.
There is a major supermarket just 2 minutes walk as well as a pharmacy, bakery, coffee shops, bars, restuarants and many other amenities all within easy walking distance.

There are several bus routes right outside the house which will take you directly to the city centre.
Buses are regular and convenient.
We can also provide a taxi transfer from the airport if requested. We can also arrange a taxi for other excursions if desired.

Le charme de cet appartement réside dans le bow window, et la vue qu'il offre sur Dublin.

L'appartement est très bien. La chambre n'est pas très grande mais très confortable. Le lit pliant n'est pas un problème, il est très facile à installer. La cuisine est très bien équipée avec frigo, plaque de cuisson, micro-ondes, grille-pain et bouilloire. Il y a des casseroles, poiles et tout le nécessaire. La wifi fonctionne parfaitement, par contre la télé pas très bien. La réception des chaînes était très mauvaise. Pourtant lorsque nous l'avons signalé au propriétaire il a essayé de réparer le soucis mais nous étions au moment des fêtes de fin d'année il nous a prévenue que cela serait difficile d'avoir un réparateur en cette période. Le propriétaire à été très gentil et nous a rendu service pour nous garder les bagages le dernier jour. Il y a un grand supermarché près de la maison (à 3mn à pied). Par contre si vous souhaitez vous rendre en centre ville il vous fait soit prendre le bus (3 bus différents sont à votre disposition) soit descendre à pied (comptez 15 mn jusqu'aux quai et 15 autres minutes jusqu'au centre, donc 30 mn au total), sachez que si vous choisissez de faire le chemin à pied ma ballade est plus agréable car elle est en descente et la route est bordée de commerces (au départ de l'appartement) Si vous choisissez le bus sachez qu'il n'existe pas de carte de transport et chaque trajet vous coutera 2€ ou 2,70€ (ce qui fait une certaines sommes si vous restez longtemps et si vous faites beaucoup d'aller et venue) En tout cas nous vous conseillons cette appartement car il est dans un quartier très calme et il est confortable ainsi que fonctionnel

We travelled to the Cliffs of Moher and spent the rest of our time in Dublin. The apartment was great, very close to bus stop too. Taxis go all night long too so transportation was never an issue. Really good wifi too! Lots of character in building. If you're looking to check out the Guinness Factory or any other big attraction in Dublin, go early morning. We didn't know they sold tickets in the morning and rarely have any by afternoon. Same foe other big attractions.

The apartment was perfect. You get a great view eating by the high windows. With a shop around the corner and bus stop right opposite the house everything we needed was in reach. Liams wife was very friendly to us and gave us great tips on what to do and see. Thank you very much!

I grew up in the tourist business as my parents ran a hotel in Kildare so I have always wanted to get back into the hosptality industry. I have owned this house from the early '90's when I returned from New York where I had lived for a number of years. I have been in the buidling trade for the last 20 years so I thought I would combine the two and refurbish the house and provide rental accommodation in an extremely convenient locations to tourists.
