We had a marvelous four day stay at Eric's apartment, which is close to the Eiffel Tower and has easy access to the metro and buses. Although our family of 6 (grandparents, children, and parents) reached Paris quite late at night, Eric helped us with the luggage, welcomed us with glasses of cool water and fruits, and patiently briefed us on the use of his apartment. Upon our request, Eric also stocked some soymilk in the fridge for us, before our arrival. We really appreciated the fact that Eric has paid attention to every little detail and convenience, and put in a lot of care and effort to make his home, which made it a most comfortable stay for us. The kitchen is stocked with suitable crockery, pots and pans, and other edible essentials, for making tea, delicious espresso coffee, and a meal. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are neat and clean, and so is the bathroom. There are many guides, maps, and books on Paris. To top it all, in the evenings, we were able to see the beautifully lit Eiffel Tower from the windows, which certainly made Eric's home 'Nowhere better than this place'.
A note: The apartment is located on the 7th floor; an elevator takes you to the 6th floor, after which you have to climb a short set of stairs, which could be a concern for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues.
We highly recommend Eric's apartment and would love to visit again.
