Discover Southern hospitality in our great big cypress home. Its unique character is a combination of old Florida style and contemporary design. We built it ourselves and love to share it with our guests.
Relax in a large upstairs suite with its comfortable queen size bed, sitting area, and private bath with walk-in shower.
The balcony sitting area offers a unique view of the high wooden beamed ceiling and decorative wrought iron balustrade. A Florida-style verandah with rocking chairs, wicker furniture and a hammock in its private nook calls you to slow down after your day at the beach, golf course or sightseeing on the island.
Since this is a shared space, as the bedroom we offer is in our home, I must tell you that we do have a cat. He doesn't go in the guest rooms. For the safety of the cat, we have determined that we cannot accommodate emotional support animals. There are many other wonderful AirBnB listings on Amelia Island that will be a better fit for you, if that is something you need to make your vacation perfect.

The trail runs between the Nassau Sound bridge at Amelia Island State Park all the way to Peter’s Point Park beach access and past the Amelia Island Ritz-Carlton and Golf Club of Amelia and along Amelia Island Parkway.
You are welcome to use the workout room with its serious weight lifting equipment, yoga mats and massage table, if the bonus room isn't booked by someone else.

There is another bedroom listed on AirBnB, if this one isn't available for the days you want. It is called Amelia Island Paradise, Southern Charm. And, a couple of other ones that I can offer, if the need arrises. I only activate those listings when they are needed for larger parties who book the listed ones. Email me for further details on them. Search in both Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach, if you don't see the second one.

Friendly, happy and gregarious would be words to describe me, and easy to get along with, as well. I am a native Floridian, ancestors were Florida pioneers, coming here on Spanish land grants just after the Revolutionary War. Love history, especially local history and am a certified walking tour guide in downtown Fernandina. (That means I can walk and talk at the same time!) I am very active with the DAR - Daughters of the American Revolution and am a deacon at the First Presbyterian Church. I have been a Realtor for too many years to count and am the staff accountant for Chaplin Williams Rentals with 225 rental properties on Amelia Island, in Fernandina Beach and Yulee, Florida to take care of. If you want to know anything about our area, just ask... I know where all the bodies are buried! (I specialize in cemetery tours.) Come visit us and you will be assured of a memorable vacation!
