A modern addition to an 1867 house, Little Place 2 overlooks the large backyard from the second-floor deck. And if you're traveling with another couple, you may share the additional deck adjoining this apartment with the original Little Place aptmt.
High-ceilinged urban studio apartment with private deck (also accesses the middle deck that goes with the original Little Place if you have a larger party and want to rent both and meet in the middle), private entrance, off-street parking, queen bed, equipped kitchen, large glass-doored shower with Dr. Bronner's soaps and hairdryer, Wifi, AC. Stocked with local organic granola, coffee, tea, juice, milk, sugar, S&P. Located in Burlington's vibrant Old North End, it's two doors away from the neighborhood gathering place/coffee shop, Barrio Bakery (they have delicious vegan baked goods, too, and dine-in pizza Wednesday through Saturday evenings). It's about a 10-minute walk to downtown, half a block from Butch & Babe's restaurant and Central (Asian) Market with fresh produce as well as great takeout, and in the other direction there's take-out Sushi and Drifter's Cafe. Walking distance to the waterfront and bike paths, the University of Vermont, and UVM Medical Center. 45-minute drive to Stowe. Posted price includes cleaning fee.
Single-night reservations or a third guest is an additional $20 — please message me so I may send a special offer with the correct rate. During summer and foliage season, single-night reservations on the weekends will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. The apartment is the top floor rear of my triplex.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the backyard but their own deck is more private and less buggy. They have an assigned parking space at the end of the driveway.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
I like to meet my guests when they arrive or soon after (I work part time away from home) and orient them to the apartment and the local amenities. I'm a knock on the door away if I'm home or available by cell phone if I'm not. I respect the guests' privacy although I'm always happy to run into them in passing and hear about their adventures.
Check-in is anytime after 3 pm; check-out is by 11 am. I accept infants and children over 12 — the apartment is not child-proofed. And as much as I love dogs, I don't accept pets in consideration of later guests with allergies. There is no smoking, please, and no real candles — I provide LED candles for flameless ambience. I live downstairs — reasonable courtesies expected. And I'm happy to recycle if guests separate their recyclables from the regular garbage.
