Views throughout the house are fabulous. The authentic West Coast native art we have
brought from Vancouver combined with the Mexican furnishings and many plants gives
Casa Joanie a unique, warm and comfortable feel that we are sure you'll embrace.
Casa Joanie has lots of lounging area & a large, well appointed upstairs bedroom with quality king-size bed and linens. It has an en-suite bathroom with a beautiful view of the bay from its bed & private shower. On the main floor is a fold down king-size bed as well as a comfortable futon with dressers upstairs & down. A well-slocked gourmet kitchen with bar make it a true home, not just a rental.
Relax in the hammock, rocking chair, two fold-down couches, leather chairs or sit at
the bar as you gaze at the bay or each other while listening to your favourite tunes on the
stereo or choose from the 170+ CD's we provide our guests.
At night you can experiment with the cool lighting we have chosen to create any mood you desire.
Casa Joanie, located on the edge of the pueblo towards the point is tranquil so you
can hear the waves softly meet the shore at night. Just below & and a few minutes walk
away are restaurants & stores. Beaches are minutes away in either direction & the main
beach is a 15 minute stroll through town. We provide quality snorkeling gear to explore the fishes only steps from the door.

Échanges avec les voyageurs
We are always available by email. If there is anything in the casa that needs attention we will immediately contact our caretaker Diego who will take care of things gladly and politely per your convenience.
We are happy to recommend friendly & responsible operators of horseback riding, fishing, & boat trips to secluded beaches and the Marieta Islands. Please contact us for our websites that have links to many informative websites including those of Casa Grace.
We have a 3 night minimum stay & we expect you to have fun!
I have been returning to Yelapa for over 38 years because of the tranquility of its jungle & beaches and the absence of cars and buses.
Grace and I decided to build our first home, Casa Grace about 11 years ago then built Casa Joanie a few years later. Everything must be brought in by boat so it's been quite an ongoing adventure that we enjoy so much.
What is especially enchanting about Yelapa are the people and that it is an authentic Mexican village with children playing everywhere. It doesn't hurt that the restaurants just get better all the time & are so affordable. It is so easy there to make lasting friends both Yelapan and N. American.
We work very hard to make our casas the best and pride ourselves on how we work with our guests to ensure they have the best vacation possible.
Thank you for checking us out.
