I’m a Children’s book Illustrator and Designer. I live with my husband, Bjorn, a Music Teacher and Fly Fishing Guide, and three children.
I divide my working hours between a lovely studio I rent with my colleagues and home. I often end up making my illustrations and design right at home and I absolutely love being able to make that choice.
Bjorn and I were born on the same day, same year in Reykjavík - and also at the same hospital. Talk about love at first sight!
We lived in the USA and Spain for several years, but moved back home about 14 years ago. In Reykjavík we’ve always lived in the center of town and we really love our surroundings here.
Bjorn and I bought the house in 2007. It was built in 1930 and our family lives in the top, the ground floor is for our visitors. Both apartments have private access.
