Bright first floor 2 bedrooms apartment in Glasgow's West End close to Dumbarton and Byres Road. 2 subway/metro stations (Partick and Kelvin Hall) are less than 5 minutes walk and will take you into the city centre in less than 10 minutes. SECC is one stop (3 minutes) from Partick main line station or a 25 minute walk. Great selection of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants in the area. Great transport links. Sleeps 4 adults. From 06/17 there are parking restrictions so please contact me.

Le logement

The location is perfect for enjoying Glasgow's west end with great transport links to the city centre, SECC and SSE Hydro. The apartment itself is on a quiet residential street with no through traffic. There is free on street parking. On the first floor of a traditional Glasgow tenement (built in the 1880's), it is perfect for a couple, a family or small group.

- Fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, fan assisted electric oven, dishwasher, microwave. There is a washing machine in the bathroom.
- Two double bedrooms with one double and two singles and plenty of hanging and storage space. There is also a two seater sofa bed in the living room which is suitable for a child or young adult. I also have a travel cot/highchair for infants.
- Shared back garden.
- Open plan kitchen, living and dining space for four people.

I also have a travel cot for infants and a high chair.

I'll hand over the keys and guests will have access to the entire apartment for their stay.

Le quartier

I love the fact that it is quiet and residential but with great transport links a short distance away and also has plenty of places to eat, have a drink and enjoy the nightlife of Glasgow's vibrant west end.

Transports

Dumbarton Road is a 3 minute walk from the flat. From here, there is a selection of buses which will take you into the city centre in approx. 10 - 15 minutes. There are two underground stations on Dumbarton Road - Partick which iminute walk and Kelvinhall which is 5 - 6 minutes away. Partick is also a main line train station so you can take trains to the SECC (one stop which takes 3 minutes), the SSE Hydro as well as Edinburgh and further afield. The number 747 bus also stops on Dumbarton Road coming to/from Glasgow airport.

Byres Road is a 6 minute walk away. You can also easily walk from my place to Kelvingrove Museum and Art Galleries, the Riverside Museum as well as the Botanic Gardens, Glasgow University and Kelvingrove park. There is also a wealth of food shops, bars, restaurants, cafes in and around this area.

Free overnight parking, parking restrictions during the day, please contact me if you plan on bringing a car.

This was our second time at Veronica's place. So obviously we like it. Location is great, close to shops, pubs, and local public transit. Great for kids since the extra space makes everything a little easier. If we're back in Glasgow we'll go here again!

We had a brilliant stay at Veronica's place. We stayed here with friends who were visiting from overseas. The location was so good for transport and even to drive to touristy places, it was handy for everything. Liasing with Veronica was so easy and everything was so organised. Highly recommend!

We had 4 comfortable nights at the apartment. It was clean, equipped with everything that you may need, had very comfortable beds and was very well located for wandering around the West End and for getting to Loch Lomond. Veronica was really easy to communicate with, greeted us on arrival and was available during our stay when we needed her. We had a great stay, thank you.

Veronica's tenement apartment was perfect for our stay: Great location close to Byers Rd and two subway stations as well as an over ground station. Well kitted out for cooking in (if required), Parking was busy, but ultimately we didn't have a problem finding somewhere on the block. Apartment was really clean and water pressure in the shower was fantastic...Beds were very comfortable and Veronica was a pleasure to deal with! We'd highly recommend and will use again and again when we return to Glasgow! Thanks.
