As much as they want. We are very sensitive to the needs of our guests and at the same time do not want to be intrusive. After all we are at their service!
We will clean your unit and change bedding and towels once a week at no additional charge.

Yes, we are required by the State of Washington to collect State Tax and fees which is 15% of your bill with us. If you stay with us for 30 days or more we are not required to collect State Tax...but still required to collect business fees of 6.1%.

Règlement intérieur
L'entrée dans les lieux se fait à partir de 16:00

We do have rules and regulations we will post and send to our guests. We will send you an inventory list of your unit and some other file attachments that will be informational and beneficial to your enjoyment of our property.
The no brainer rules are leave things in there place, no pets, no extra people sleeping on the floor, no smoking in the building. You are also responsible if you break things, destroy things or disappearance of items on your inventory list.

If you are staying with us as an extended stay guests...we will not provide you with breakfast or any of the other things we give to our regular hotel guests. You are rented the unit as a rental and are responsible for buying your own necessities.

No smoking in the unit and now Washington State also has a law that no smoking in any public (URL HIDDEN) parks etc.

The Chef's Quarters at Auberge de Seattle was a very comfortable hideaway for our week long vacation in the Woodinville area. Unlike others who come here for the local wines and for the marvelous French cooking which Nancy offers, we were simply seeking a private place close to our daughter's home 12 minutes away. Nancy was very welcoming and the space quite comfortable. Clearly it is meant for only 2, which suited us well. The kitchen was stocked with all that a serious cook would need and the rest of the space was quite homey. The Chef's Quarters is just one section of a B and B in a glorious setting with lovely gardens. It was a treat to drive in there.

Our host made us feel extremely welcome, from greeting us on our arrival to seeing us off on our departure. They made sure to check in to see if there were any of our needs unmet during our stay. The location is beautiful, quiet and close to Woodinville.

I come from a French heritage. My mother was French and my father (Norman Gates) spent 17 years living with the French in France and in French Morocco. He was much involved with the wine France and in United States, always curious about wine and wanting to share his knowledge. In many ways, culturally, I am more French than American. I lived in the Loire Valley, (yes, now you understand why I am partial to the Loire Valley) during five years as a teenager. I am bilingual. I feel that I have a good understanding of the people, their way of life and I am anxious to share this "joie de vivre" with my guests. I truly enjoy celebrating my French heritage, (I come from a long line of excellent cooks) and introducing you to all that I love and all that I hold dear about France in all her glory is my raison d'etre! I am the author of "French Cuisine, a traditional experience" cookbook. Our property is also the home of a French Specialty Cooking School in the Woodinville Wine Country, in Washington State. I truly believe that French Cuisine is meant to be shared it is not a solitary occupation!
