Enter into the hallway with plenty of hooks and nooks for coats and wellies before entering into the cosy open plan sitting/dining room area with sofas clustered around the large inglenook fireplace with wood burner. A large dining table with chairs for six is located at one end of the living area. A glass door opens out into a beautiful garden with a built in BBQ, plenty of outdoor furniture and a croquet set for your use.

Back inside on the ground floor there is the small but practical and very well equipped kitchen with an electric oven and halogen hob, slim-line dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and all other mod-cons one would expect. There is also a loo and washbasin by the front door.

On the first floor is a delightful large king-sized bedroom, a bedroom with a zip-and-link bed (meaning it can be made up as a king-sized bed or two twins) and a small children’s bedroom with a fabulous bunk bed designed to look like rowing boats. This bedroom is small and there is limited headroom on the top bunk.

Also on this floor is a gorgeous bathroom with exposed beams and a luxurious free standing bath with hand held shower. There is a washing machine in this bathroom.

- Good quality bed linen and towels are provided
- Dishwasher, washing machine, telephone, free wifi
- Smart TV (BBC iPlayer, 4od, freeview), DVD player
- Sonos wireless multi-room music system (sitting room, kitchen, both main bedrooms)

We have a large private enclosed garden which is a very special feature of Hinders, being well tended and very pretty. The cottage is in a quiet rural area making the garden a perfect place to relax in. With plenty of garden furniture and a built in barbeque the garden provides a great haven to relax and eat outdoors.

Hinders has private parking on the drive with enough space for 3 cars.

Hinders is available for week bookings from Friday - Friday.

We will be available on phone throughout your stay and will provide further detail once booking is confirmed (directions, local shops and things to do etc!)

North Norfolk offers a great variety of activities to suit everyone's holiday. Hinders is perfectly located just 4 miles from the coast with countless walks, seal trips to Blakeney Point and sailing at Morston. There is "legendary" bird watching throughout the area, with the visitor centre at Cley marshes providing an excellent base for enthusiasts. Picnic provisions can be found at Picnic Fayre, a fantastic deli in Cley next the Sea.

Tennis courts are located in Blakeney and Cromer and there are two top golf courses within 30 minutes of the cottage.

The stunning countryside surrounding Hindringham also provides excellent walking opportunities. If you prefer exploring on two wheels we have a safe storage area in which you can keep your bikes.

Hinders is within driving distance of a number of Norfolk stately homes which are open to the public; take your pick from Holkham Hall, Bickling Hall, Felbrigg and Sandringham.

Consider a trip to Holt or Burnham Market for a browse around antique, art and gift shops.

A car is required to stay in this area, we have a private drive at the cottage with enough space for 3 cars.

If you prefer to explore by two wheels we have secure storage for bicycles.

Fabulous place. Kitted out to a really nice spec. Pizza oven is awesome fun. 30 mins or less from many activities from the beaches, manors, kids activities and plenty more. We absolutely loved it here. If you've got this far, stop procrastinating and get it booked.

This is a very lovely cottage in a quiet location. We stayed with a 11months old, a 4 year old and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we didn't want to leave. The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms are nice and airy.

2 adults, 4 kids and a dog .... We had a lovely stay. The cottage has a lovely atmosphere, very homely. The kitchen was nice, with plenty on utensils to bake cakes and cook. The Log fire was wonderful each evening. Top quality Harrods duvets and beds meant a great night's sleep. The Garden is very nice and the pizza oven went down very well with the kids. There was so much to do in the area, beaches, forests, stately homes, adventure parks.... we could easily have stayed for an extra week! Guy was quick to respond to any questions. They do need to sort out the hot water - 2 minute baths before the water goes tepid wasn't pleasant. Hopefully BT will get their act together in rural communities because we struggled to get the internet on most days. In summary, a wonderful place and we would recommend it.

Guy and Georgie were great hosts and very easily contactable. The cottage itself is very beautiful, cosy and really well equipped. Its location is perfect for trips out to the coast and and all the pretty towns and villages in the area, and a really peaceful place to come home to after a day full of exploring. Would definitely go again!
