You're renting two bedrooms of a 3B/2Ba home. Each room has a queen bed and are joined together by a full Jack-and-Jill bathroom. One bedroom has an antique dresser, and the other has a large work desk and a reading area. If you don't need the second queen bed, it can be broken down to add more space in the reading/work room. In addition to your suite, you'll have full access to the kitchen, dining and living rooms, and the outside patio area. The living room has an AppleTV with Netflix, WatchESPN & HBOGo. The patio has a gas grill and a beautiful outdoor fireplace. The whole home has WIFI.
I will mostly likely be present during your stay, but will not be underfoot. Happy to be as hands-on/off as you prefer.
This neighborhood is full of old historic homes. All the homes in our neighborhood were built in the 1930s & 1940s to house Ole Miss professors and their families on "Faculty Row." The houses were located on campus for over half a century, but in 2007, as the university expanded, they were sold and moved to their current location. We take a lot of pride in our neighborhood and occasionally host community events in our central green space. Most homes are occupied by young professionals and small families.
Taxis are available for fairly cheap. Parking on campus and on the Square is not impossible, but it is crowded. There is a one-mile paved bike/walking trail that connects our neighborhood to the Ole Miss campus. It used to be the town's railroad bed, so it's a fairly flat walk. Walking to the Square is also about a mile, though you have to zig-zag off the trail about halfway down and use sidewalks the rest of the way. Directions on request.
