Le logement

Situated across the road from Cooper Park in Bellevue Hill you will find yourself delightfully surprised when entering this residence with its concealed entrance. Be welcomed when opening the door to a rather spacious dwelling with stunning timber floors which create a homely ambience.

As it is only across the road to Cooper Park it's great area for children’s play or for walking your dog.Walking down the passage you find that this residence has 2 bedrooms: one with 2 single beds which can be joined to form a king size bed and the main bedroom a queen size bed.

The spacious lounge is equipped with TV Radio facilities and takes us into the kitchen/dinning room which makes for a cosy comfortable stay. It offers a large full bathroom with bath and separate shower.Fans for the Summer and heaters for the winter.

Just out the back door you find a very private garden, with BBQ and just waiting to be used for entertainment. This property is only moments away from the active day and night life Sydney has to offer and most amenities are on your doorstep.

Le quartier

Bellevue Hill is right in the middle of double bay bondi junction and bondi beach which gives you 3 great destination that are close by. Bondi Junction shopping centre is just a stone throw away and is easily accessible by taxi, train, bus and so close even a leisurely stroll can get you there.

There is a huge Westfield Centre in Bondi with an array of boutiques, department stores and specialty shops. A huge Events Cinema which screens the latest release movies. From Bondi Junction you can easily catch a train or a bus into the CBD + Circular Quay or to Bondi Beach, Bronte Beach, Coogee or Paddington.

Down the Hill you will find Double Bay, where new bars like Mrs Sippy, Pelicano and Vine are nestled among some of the older institutions such as the Royal Oak Hotel and The Golden Sheaf Hotel. There is a buzzing bar and café atmosphere that is new to this area of Sydney.

The choice of restaurants is endless and you can find almost any cuisine in this little suburb. The refurbishment of the Ritz-Carlton hotel, once a favourite haunt of celebrities, has now resurfaced as the Intercontinental Sydney Double Bay, drawing a whole new raft of cool venues to and shops to the area.

The gorgeously curated boutiques that put Double Bay on the map are still here, peddling wares you won’t find anywhere else in the city. Another highlight of Double bay is The Murray Rose Pool, at Redleaf beach, a wonderful harbourside beach and tidal enclosure that features a wraparound deck floating pontoons.

Double bay also has a Ferry Wharf with regular ferry services to Circular Key the North Shore and Watson’s Bay.

Property was spacious and as listed, clean and tidy, although guess the 'huge' garden depends on your definition of 'huge'. Quite possibly it is by Sydney standards. Agency very helpful and couple of minor issues (broken Kettle) fixed by the time we returned to the property later that day. Good location for both Bondi and Bondi Junction and the city. Access might be a problem for some as it was via a steep (but short) set of narrow steps. But overall a very good base for staying in Sydney.

Very nice neigbourhood at right distance between seaside and the city. The house itself was a deception: The sheets were dirty and we had to request to change them . The house was dirty, the garden not maintained (not like on the picture). The quality didn't justify the price.
