A bright and cheerful house on the edge of a conveniently located village to the north-west of Poole. Our house is set back from the road, and is very quiet. The room overlooks the garden and field/woodland beyond. The bedrooms is next to a private bathroom with corner bath, separate shower, wash basin and toilet.
We are child friendly and could provide a travel cot, bed guard and high chair. Our garden has lots for a child's interest including a slide, swings and cars.
We offer bed and breakfast (cereals, toast, preserves or scrambled eggs if preferred), which can be eaten in our dining room, conservatory or the garden. We are happy to offer catered or self service - it is your decision. Vegetarians and those needing a paleo diet can be accommodated, just ask. There is also tea/coffee facilities in the room.
We are conveniently located for exploring the local area, and can offer plenty of advice on what to see and do. (See below)
Lytchett Matravers is conveniently located for the ports of Poole and Weymouth, and we could accommodate parking for a trailer or caravan if required.
There are two pubs in the village which provide food within walking distance, although there is wider choice only a short distance away.

When guests stay we like to treat them as "part of the family" so are welcome to join us in anything we happen to be doing - a glass of wine in the garden, watching the TV in the lounge?
We do have a young ginger cat, called Freda and a friendly Jack Russell called Millie. They are important members of the family.
We would hope guest will enjoy and respect the area and its quietness. We are not the best location to explore the nightlife of Bournemouth, rather the dark skies of Purbeck.
We are unable to accommodate any extra pets, and the whole house is non-smoking, thank you.
As this is our home we would love to meet and chat with any guests, But of course, if you want a private, quiet visit, just say!
Breakfast will be at your request and we are happy to offer advice for your stay.
Cindy is an historian, so do say if you want any information about the area and its heritage (day trips can be arranged covering prehistory to the Victorians if you would like!)
