À propos de ce logement
Our comfortable farmhouse rests on Garvin Mesa overlooking the beautiful North Fork Valley and West Elk Mountains. It's a wonderful place to stay for artists, bicyclists, wine tasters and explorers. Exceptional views with 3 wineries nearby.
Our place has been called an "oasis" by many. The house is surrounded by trees, yard and water flows through the property. It was once the center of a 55 acre fruit farm and later, one of the out buildings became the original studio site for Paonia's KVNF Community Radio (1979). Three wineries are located nearby with the Stone Cottage Winery only a short walk away. Paonia is only 6 to 7 minutes by car. Nearby attractions include the Black Canyon National Park, the Grand Mesa and the national forest. Crested Butte and Aspen are about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away.

I recently retired from Housing Resources of Western Colorado where I was an energy technician and consultant helping people with energy management in their homes and businesses. I plan to continue to do residential energy evaluations on a part time basis. I also founded Paonia's community radio station, KVNF, in 1979 and was involved in founding Grand Junction's community radio station, KAFM, in 1999.
