Treehouse Too is built into the same three trees as our original treehouse, giving the same magical feeling of being high up in the trees. It has a beautiful view of the field behind the property. Enjoy the fireplace in the treetop upper deck!
This brand new unit (2014) was built high up to enjoy the beautiful field behind our house. The windows frame the cows and horses enjoying the green grass. Treehouse Too has it's own complete bathroom, a queen-sized and twin bed upstairs in the loft, and a double futon downstairs. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, hot plate and toaster oven. Wifi and satellite TV. There is a commons-area with a fireplace above this units that we call the Upper Deck that has a beautiful view of the glaciers across the bay and the famous Homer Spit.
There is a fire pit in the front where you can enjoy the mid-night sun, and a barbeque.
We own a greenhouse so the perennial nursery is at it's best in the summer. There is an amazing bakery just a mile up the road, Fritz Creek General Store. Homer has great fishing, art galleries, and incredible restaurants.

Guests are invited to share the Upper Deck space, (we have a treehouse and an A-frame that we rent, so there could be other guests on the property.) and the fire pit in the front. The greenhouses are fun to explore, and the field is a nice little walk, especially in the evening when the Alpen Glow is at it's rosiest.

We are on the property and are available to help you with anything you need and do housekeeping, but you are basically on your own.
It's best to be in pretty good physical shape because of the stairs involved in getting to the Field House, and using the loft and the commons area.
We have had great guests, and the ones we love most are ones that are just sensitive to others. We allow animals on a case-by-case basis, usually on the premise that they are almost human with their good manors. There is no smoking in the Field House, but the Upper Deck commons-area is a great place to smoke, or down by the fire pit.

I am a piano teacher, and a cartoonist. The Homer Tribune runs my strip, "You're in Homer When...". My husband is a horticulturist and the pastor of the Refuge Chapel. We have greenhouses and a beautiful perennial nursery on the property. We have a resident mouse-killing- cat named Claire and a leisure-loving dog named Molly.
