The days we spent in this place were one of the worst nightmares we've ever experienced! First, the building is old, full of dirt and mildew - so try not to breathe when you climb the stairs. Second, the neighborhood is so noisy that you'll find yourself slamming on walls at 5am in order to calm them down. And the last (but far from the least), the apartment itself is a mess, and its stench makes you heave the moment you step in (do not ever close the windows or you'll feel it to the worst extent). Dust and rust and smell all over the place (to be honest, we haven't seen any rats or roaches - but maybe we didn't pay enough attention). No WiFi (even though it was promised). No hot water most of the time. The mattress looks like a valley, with a hollow in its middle part. There are used dirty towels and smelly linen left in the bathroom, along with mold plastered all over the shower curtain. The toilet tank doesn't function and the water keeps running (and the guests are expected to fix it). The keys awaits you in an open mailbox, which hypothetically means anyone could have made a copy and abuse your absence to get in while you're out. And the worst: once he gets your money, the owner won't respond much, so you're completely on your own. We left two days earlier, that's how bad it was. And we believe AIRBNB should do something to protect the guests from frauds like this one!
