The apartment is an immaculate beautifully presented - main door ground floor - Victorian townhouse in one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious residential locations.

This spacious minimalist residence was recently refurbished and only a mile from the city’s historic centre and all main attractions.

The leafy peaceful locale is only a short walk from the Meadows, Braid Hills, Blackford Hill. Arthur’s Seat and Holyrood Park.

All major transport links are close by as are convenience stores.

The AREA
This residence is perfect for those who wish to reside in close proximity to the centre of Edinburgh but are happy to escape the more crowded areas and be closer to nature.

While only a mile from the beautiful historic centre you are also a short walk from Edinburgh’s most beautiful parks including the Meadows, Holy Rood Park (Arthur’s Seat & Royal Palace) and the Braid Hills. You are also close to a number of great restaurants and quirky artisan coffee shops.

The RESIDENCE
The space consists of a grandiose front facing drawing room with a large bay window flooded with sunshine but inclusive of operating wooden shutters. There are beautiful period features throughout including large rooms, tall ceilings and ornate cornicing carefully restored to their stunning Victorian splendour.

To the rear of the property there is a large bedroom with an extremely comfortable foam mattress, luxurious leather headboard with four duck down pillows with a warm duvet. The bedroom windows are fitted with blackout blinds but when open the bedroom is flooded with sunlight and you will awake to beautiful bird song from the rear garden.

The apartment is 80 square meters in total.

The FURNITURE
Each piece of furniture has been specifically chosen to create a clean, minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic, while also being functional and creating a comfortable homely atmosphere. The lack of clutter and beautiful neutral palate will help you feel extremely relaxed.

The CLEAN
Prior to your arrival the apartment will be meticulously cleaned with fresh bed linen and fluffy towels provided.

The PRACTICAL
On the practical side the massive new kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, luxury crockery from Anthropologie, cutlery from Robert Welch and stylish equipment from SMEG & GlobalNI. The cutlery is stored in what may for some residents appear to be a concealed drawer. Further, a chopping board, patented non-stick pots and a frying pain are provided if you would like to cook!

The ELECTRONICS
MacBook and iPhone chargers, a Dyson handheld cordless hoover, a high quality iron and powerful hair dryer are also provided.

The SHOWER
The shower is warm and powerful and the bathroom stocked with toiletries including quality shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash, liquid hand soap, antiperspirant, tooth brushes and tooth paste.

Close to Edinburgh city centre, Findhorn Place is situated within the heart of the exclusive Grange conservation area, one of Edinburgh’s most beautiful areas populated by luxury residences.

The Grange has a strong sense of local community providing a wonderful environment for family life or a couple to relax.

There is an excellent range of cafes, restaurants, shops and leisure facilities only minutes away in Marchmont, Newington, Bruntsfield and Morningside. In fact, Edinburgh’s best artisan coffee houses are nearby including August_21 (a quick walk next to the Meadows & SummerHall), Artisan Roast, Dovecoat by Leo, the Black Medicine and Brew Lab. The luxury of Prestonfield House is a short walk away as is the art of Summerhall.

Local sporting facilities include a number of golf courses, the Commonwealth Pool and there are pleasant walks in the nearby open spaces of Arthur's Seat, Blackford Hill and the Meadows.

For those wishing to stay in the summer months, the city's central Festival Area (including George Square , Pleasance, Festival Theatre and Summerhall) are within walking distance.
