This lovely detached cottage is set in the village of Cresswell, where you can admire the views of Druridge Bay and the beautiful coastline and sandy beaches.. Ground Floor:

This detached, spacious property with a side sun room and play area to admire the view towards Druridge Bay is only a few minutes walk to the sandy beach and coastline. Sleeping up to 14 people with 2 family bedrooms and some ground floor facilities, the property has a large garden for relaxing after your days out. Cresswell was once a thriving fishing village with a historic tower, and much of the town’s history relates to witches and magic. The area has spectacular scenery with clifftop walks and a 64 mile coastal path beginning at Cresswell and runs along the coast to Berwick. Druridge Bay Country Park runs from Cresswell to Amble, is run by the National Trust and is ideal for more wildlife. Walking enthusiasts can enjoy a walk from the door along to Druridge Bay and the nature reserve and country park, or a shorter walk will take you the ice cream shop (seasonal) and the pretty church which are in the centre of this little village.
A short drive brings you to Newbiggin-by-the-Sea (approximately 6 miles) where the only east coast offshore sculpture can be seen. It also has a new maritime centre, sandy beach, a good ice cream parlour and a long promenade to stroll along. Amble, only 9 miles, is reputedly the friendliest port and lies further up the coast. An easy drive takes you onto the Heritage coastal route, peppered with castles and friendly villages. Alnwick is easily reached, where there is a fine selection of pubs, eateries and cobbled streets, along with the famous castle. Visitors of all ages can enjoy this delightful well equipped holiday home, where special times and celebrations will be remembered. Beach 0.9 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
