This lovely detached barn conversion is perfect for a couple looking for a peaceful break away in the beautiful Northumberland countryside.. Ground Floor:
Open plan living space: With laminate floor.
Living area: With multi-fuel burner, 32" TV and wall-mounted double bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements).
Dining area.
Kitchen area: With gas oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle, toilet and tiled floor.. First Floor:
Bedroom: With double bed, Velux window, wooden floor and en-suite toilet.. Radiators fuelled by multi-fuel burner (bathroom and first floor), gas, solar panel electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and fuel for multi-fuel burner included.. Patio with garden furniture. Enclosed 6-acre landscaped natural grounds. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children. There are sloping banks and a stream in the grounds, 50 yards away. . Set in picturesque countryside with open views from the beautiful arch windows, the emphasis on Zoe’s Barn is the tranquillity and peace surrounded by nature and wildlife. This lovely detached barn conversion has been sympathetically restored by the caring owner with great attention to detail. The owner’s two pet cows live in the adjacent field where guests are welcome to enjoy the 6 acres. With walks from the door, Zoe’s Barn is a perfect retreat to escape and relax. The ground floor has good size custom-built kitchen and open plan living space with two beautiful windows. There is even a pull down double bed hidden behind the panels should you wish to make the most of flexible sleeping arrangements and have a room each. The first floor bedroom also boasts a sofa and table to provide that extra bit of space.
The property is set on the edge of Hartburn, a small historic village with the beautiful, 13th-century, Grade I listed St Andrew’s Church. Hartburn sits 7 miles west of the charming historic market town of Morpeth, with plentiful bars, cafés, shops and pretty riverside rowing boats. Scots Gap is just 3 miles away with a country store and small petrol station. Zoe’s Barn is ideal as a peaceful base for those wishing to enjoy the peace of nature yet is close to many visitor attractions with easy access back to Morpeth and all the main routes through the county. The Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty shouldn’t be missed with its many castles and miles of golden sandy beaches. Why not head inland to the magnificent Gold Tier Northumberland International Dark Sky Park and visit Kielder Water and Park? Both Hadrian’s Wall and Corbridge Roman Town make for a super day out, as does the National Trust’s Cragside at Rothbury. After a day’s exploring, return to Zoe’s Barn to catch the glorious sunset perhaps while sitting out soaking up the atmosphere of the barn and surrounding area. Beach 16 miles. Shop 3½ miles, pub 2 miles and restaurant 2½ miles.
