This cool, clean historic home is a great base from which to explore Denver. It boasts a loft master suite upstairs and guest bedroom on the main floor, each with bath. Patios up and down, front and back. You're central to the best parts of Denver!

The location is simply amazing and the biggest selling point, but our home is pretty cool, too. This clean and airy home reflects eclectic yet refined tastes. Parking is free and downtown is walking distance.

Please note this listing is for the ENTIRE home, property line to property line, so you will have privacy and space with your own little urban oasis.

For children, we have a booster high chair, a pack and play, and one kid gate for the stairs.

The guest bedroom is on the main floor, and the space has a great boho luxe feel. The upstairs master suite loft is light and spacious. Each bedroom has its own bath, but only the master suite loft bath is adjoined. Please note that the master suite is a loft, so it does not have a door, but is nonetheless very private due to the labyrinthine path to the sleeping area and because it occupies the entire top floor. It also has a large, private balcony.

There are two bedrooms each with a bed (one double and a queen in the master). We allow families larger than four and can leave inflatable mattresses, electric air pumps, and linens as arranged in advance.

The drawers and closets are empty and free of personal items, so you will enjoy space to unpack and make yourself at home.

Free and reliable high-speed 50 mbps wifi. Works best on the main level. Please help yourself a cup of tea or coffee. The bathrooms have shampoo and liquid soap, and the guest bathroom boasts a claw foot tub for relaxing baths. Clean washcloths and towels are provided, and each bathroom has a hairdryer. Both bedrooms have full length mirrors for dressing. A rec center gym is one block away where you can swim laps or work out for $6. You may use the front and back patios for soaking in the sun and watching the world go by. The master suite loft has a private, upper patio.

We do not offer laundry facilities but we'll provide the address of a laundrymat that's a short drive away.

It's mainly free and easy street parking but we have one space you are welcome to use if you can't find parking for some reason.

Our interaction with guests depends on the guests and our schedules. We or a friend will meet the guest for check in, but we respect our guests' privacy.

The neighborhood is the best in Denver. It's hip and centrally located but clean and safe. You won't find better food. Walking is one of our favorite things to do around here, and the architecture is incredible. Following our impulse on sunny days, we often find ourselves down the street at Little Man Icecream, a Denver institution. The Scottish Highland neighborhood also boasts the highest density of adorable, sporty dogs in all of Denver.

You can walk to a lot of places and it's cheap to call a cab. Parking is easy and safe if you have a car, but you don't need one here. Our walk score is 82 and our transit score is 56. The #32 bus are two blocks away, the #28 and #31 are four blocks away. There is a B-cycle bike share two blocks away, and a Relayride car share three blocks away. Car2Go and eGo are both less than a mile away. It is about a mile the light rail at Union Station. Our bike score is 79 and we are about a quarter mile from the Greenway Trail, a paved bike trail that follows the South Platte River for almost 30 miles.

From the Airport: Taxi around $60, Lyft a little less ($10 off first ride code: KIAL20), Uber around the same ($30 off first ride code: kimberlya214) (my last Uber to airport in little traffic was $41.85). Super Shuttle around $30. Cheapest option is public bus number AH to Union Station ($11) and then you can walk the 1.5 miles (it's a nice walk), or hitch a ride from there ($8 cab, a little less Lyft/Uber).

The guest bath (on main level) has a clawfoot tub with shower add-on. If you've never used one, it's a little different than a modern shower and a bit of a hassle for very tall men. It's like our very own piece of Europe at home.

It is not feasible to retrofit central a/c in these fantastic historical bungalows. Our solution is to put a window unit in the master bedroom and one in the dining room from approximately June to September. It cools down fast but you have to manage the controls.

Because we love our home and want to keep it nice, pets are not permitted. Nor is inside smoking. You can smoke on any of the three fantastic patios, just please be mindful of ash and smoke. Keep the doors closed if you smoke outside so we don't end up with a house full of smoke. If you bring a pet anyway, or smoke in our house, you will be charged a $200 penalty.

We request guests keep the noise down, especially at night, given the neighborhood atmosphere.

Our casa is your casa, so long as you don't smoke or wear shoes in your casa. Earliest check in is 3pm and latest check out 11am, unless otherwise arranged in advance. This is a family home, which means we care. While we do have it professionally cleaned between guests, your courtesy is appreciated in terms of leaving the space in a reasonable condition. If it's that time of year, please use the air conditioning in a reasonable manner and do not leave it on when you leave the house. Please let us know if you see anything that is in need of repair or replacement - there is a good chance we might not know about it, so we appreciate your help in telling us. The neighborhood is hip, but it's also a quiet family-type vibe, so please be considerate of neighbors, especially at night. Always take your key with you when you go outside - the storm door locks automatically. Thank you and have a great time!

Logement cosy dans un super quartier, tranquille mais tout proche de plein de trucs branchés (pour les francais en mal de nourriture de chez eux, le café Z, à 2 pas, fait une super bouffe!!) Super expérience.

Very cute house in a great location close to downtown. We enjoyed walking to the Wooden Spoon Bakery for breakfast in the mornings. The house was comfortable and spacious for our 5 guests. It was a quick and easy uber to many places...we probably would have walked more but it was chilly while we were there :) I would recommmend to others!

This house was perfect for a girls trip to Denver. We were within walking distance of several places to eat and cute shops. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our 4 night stay in this cute historic home. It has been updated well but still has loads of character and charm - like the glass door knobs and stained glass. It was a good sized space for our family of 4 (toddler and a baby). For those with little ones, know that the stairs up to the Master suite/loft are steep. Kimberly has provided 2 baby gates to help but (as Kimberly herself advised us) we kept a close eye on the baby while upstairs. A high chair/booster seat that straps on to a chair as well as a pack n play are also provided. And to our toddler's delight there is even one of those "popcorn vacuum" toys. The location is FANTASTIC. Walked around the corner to Wooden Spoon Bakery for breakfast in the mornings. So many great restaurants in the neighborhood and also a nice park & playground nearby. Kimberly's communication was fast, thoughtful and accurate. This was our first Airbnb experience and it was absolutely seamless. Thank you, Kimberly!

Beautiful Home! Great location. Kim is truly a super host! Really cool neighborhood. Easy walk to restaurants. My only regret is not enjoying a couple more nights and a couple beers on that roof deck. It will be my first choice next time in Denver.
