Newly appointed, this is a spacious, well equipped apartment on the top floor of a recently completed three storey building. It is situated at the top of the old town of La Herradura in a quiet residential area, just 8 minutes walk from the beach front, and benefits from some of the most stupendous views over the ocean and beach that can be found in this delightful traditional Spanish town.
The accommodation has been designed with couples in mind. There is a spacious bedroom with a large double bed that can be divided into two singles. The room is light and airy, has an ample wardrobe and additional bedroom furniture, along with a large window that has views towards the hillsides surrounding this small town. This bedroom has an en suite bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. Air conditioning and warm air heating fitted.
The sitting room is generous in size, has a sofa and two arm chairs, dining table with chairs and other furniture that you would expect to find in a comfortable holiday rental. There are two double doors set into a glass wall that lead out onto a very impressive terrace that faces southwest and offers open areas for sunbathing as well as shaded areas for sitting in comfort. The terrace has sun loungers and outdoor dining furniture. When you see the views from this terrace you will understand why this is an ideal place to base yourself for a relaxing holiday; although there is the lure of the beach and other attractions in the area, there really is no need to leave your holiday accommodation if what you want to do is relax. And if you get too hot, then there is a swimming pool just 4 stories below for you to cool off in. This is free to use and is shared with the other apartments in this building.
To complement the high specifications of this apartment there is a large kitchen, fully equipped for self catering (crockery, pots and pans etc.), having a double sink, full sized built in oven plus microwave, a glass induction hob, wooden worktops, washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen sink shares the same impressive views as the sun terrace which means that even the washing up will not seem like a chore.
If 180 degree views of the town and beach that can be enjoyed from the accommodation are not enough then up just one flight of stairs you can benefit from the roof terrace space where not only can you gaze at the sea, but also at the hills that surround this enticing bay of La Herradura.
On-street parking is usually available close by, but we can also arrange garage parking for you in the same building, accessed by an elevator from the apartment. Cost for garage parking €5 per day, charged separately after booking.

We do not live on site so it is unlikely that you will have any personal interaction with us, but we live in Spain and will be available at the end of a phone in case you need us.
To access the accommodation on arrival we will send you the code for a key safe that is found outside the building. In case of difficulties we are always on hand via phone to help.
Guests will be asked to provide passport details for pre-registration before arrival in order to comply with the local law governing private holiday rentals. In common with hotels and other forms of shoer term accommodation, this information is sent electronically to the police.

We request that the property is left as it is found, clean and tidy; a deduction will be made from the deposit for excessive cleaning or damages.

We have lived in the Alpujarras since 2003. When not looking after our guests we spend most of the time working in the garden, cultivating plants and vegetables, or walking in the mountains here with our two dogs. A simple existence perhaps, but we work hard and try to lead a relatively low impact lifestyle. We also enjoy spending time at the laid back coastal town of La Herradura, on the Costa Tropical coast of Granada.
