It was like being in a resort...We couldn't have been more comfortable...The kitchen is spacious and appointed with a professional coffee machine...Kiki and Salim were gracious in providing empty drawers in the bedrooms for our belongings...The towels and sheets were of high quality...parking is absolutely NO problem, even on the street cleaning days...the backyard is dreamy, equipped for kids and adults alike... This location has excellent access to the airport with the option of using city streets....The location was perfect as it was near LAX, the highway, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and only a short drive to the beaches"

Don't want to rent a car? No problem. The house is located:
•2 Blocks from restaurants on Venice Blvd including The Curious Palate and Earl's Gourmet Grub, the Grind organic coffee house and Sunny's Greek Grill.
•3 blocks away from a great club with live music, and a bowling alley 2 blocks away.
•2 blocks from a weekly organic Farmer's Market.
•Half a block from the Venice bus line, the “33" and 2 blocks from the “Big Blue Bus" to Santa Monica.
•Grocery store is 10 minute walk and Whole Foods is a 10 minute bike ride. There's a bodega on the corner ¼ block away.
•15 minute bike ride to the beaches and Venice Canals.
•20 minute bike ride to the Santa Monica beaches.

•ipod dock connects with beefy sony stereo: there are speakers inside and out on the deck. You can hook up your iphone or laptop to the stereo too.
•Master bedroom has a brand new King mattress with a tempur-pedic 4" on top. Extremely comfortable.
•2nd bed room has super comfortable twin size luxury organic mattress with another pull out twin size trundle bed.
•Extra large steam room with custom shower in the west bath will ease you into relaxation at anytime.
•Sunken bathtub with powerful jets creates a perfect spa experience in the east bath.
•Floor to ceiling glass walls facing North and South -- incredibly bright and airy.
•Living room has floor to ceiling windows looking onto the front deck, surrounded by grasses and papyrus.
•Kitchen has sliding glass walls which open to the covered deck and outdoor living room. There are 2 back decks with seating areas and covered outdoor kitchen.
•Casual dining room opposite kitchen seats six comfortably.
•Hardwood floors throughout, slate in kitchen, slate in west bathroom and natural stone in east bathroom.
•Front loading Kitchenaid washer and dryer
•Large Side by side refrigerator with double filtered drinking water and ice in door.
•On-demand tankless hot water heater, never run out of hot water!
• Plenty of street parking, no permits required. Do check the signs on our street an everywhere in LA for "street cleaning" times, you WILL get a ticket if you violate the posted signs. On Pacific Ave its no parking on Wednesday mornings 8am-11am North side of the street and Thursday mornings 8am-11am South side of the street.
•Whole house filter takes out chlorine and other toxins so you are bathing and cooking with clean water.
•The home is on a street-to-street lot and the entire backyard is gated. search “Mar Vista Oval" and see the location and history of the Oval. We are on the north side near Venice Blvd.
•This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and the home is on a one way street (no through traffic).
Gourmet kitchen with glass top range, DeLonghi natural gas oven, breakfast bar, Meile coffee system for fabulous lattes! Refrigerator with double filtered drinking water and ice in door.
Outdoor kitchen has natural gas grill (no propane tank to refill!!) that will sear a steak to perfection and also makes great pizza. There's a sink and a drinks fridge too.
Wi-Fi high speed internet (FIOS Fiber-optic HiSpeed Internet)
HD Home Theatre with Playstation connection to Netflix
All organic household with non-toxic cleaners.

While we always enjoy chatting with our guests, we are a busy family and often miss meeting our guests entirely. If you are looking for privacy, this is the place for you. Kiki is available by text if there are questions or issues that come up. Guests are provided with a key code to check in themselves. we are not on premises - this is a self serve and private space.
ZERO TOLERANCE for noise after 10pm. we respect and consider our neighbors! this is also the LAW in the CITY OF LA.
Please no smoking inside the house. In the yard and on the decks is fine.
You MUST provide a working TEXT # or find kikis stays on a popular text app so that we can communicate VIA TEXT after your booking.
If you are bringing a PET please send us a message and booking request with breed and size information.
Please recycle, we have separate pull out trash cans to make it easy!
If you park on the street at all, be sure to check the "no parking" signs, there is street cleaning on Pacific Ave its no parking on Wednesday mornings 8am-11am North side of the street and Thursday mornings 8am-11am South side of the street. You may park in the driveway at the back of the property (on North Park Avenue) and use the key to open the small rust colored gate. Just park between the street and the sidewalk.
