Modern refurbished kitchen and living spaces. One bedroom, one bath. Windows on three sides. Front garden offers table and chairs.
Queen-sized bed in bedroom with dual control heated mattress, Twin-sized bed in the living room.
Superior chef's kitchen, all new appliances: gas range, dishwasher, fridge, microwave.
Marble tile floors, granite counters, hardwood oak floors.
Inside LG washer and dryer.
Wireless internet --devoted signal for several devices at once. My computer expert guest said "good internet connection...made internet speed test once...got 50 Mbps down / 6 up. Ability to use both cable and Wi-Fi".
Flat screen T.V. with antenna, plus Chrome-cast to stream from your devices.
Air Conditioned: LG wall units in main room and bedroom.
Heat: wall heater in main room, space heater in bedroom. Heated mattress cover.
This 900 square foot home is the west half of a duplex. Very private.

Le quartier

Low traffic quiet residential side street. Convenient to many active areas of L.A. Safe, working class neighborhood of Arlington Heights (Mid Los Angeles) with diversity of residents. Not a fancy neighborhood, but safer than adjacent areas such as Hollywood.
2 Blocks from Washington Square Market. A great location from which to explore Los Angeles. Beaches, Hollywood Hills, Sunset Strip, downtown about 20 minutes drive (depending on traffic & time of day).

Transports

10 Freeway: two entrances (Arlington Av. and Crenshaw Blvd.) are nearby. Western Ave and Koreatown (Asian Foods Shopping Center, Spa, Saunas, restaurants) are to the east and north. Culver City is about 10 minutes drive west via Washington Bl. Hollywood/Beverly Hills about a 15 minute drive northwest.
Bus lines at 23rd/Crenshaw and on Washington Bl. at 10th Ave or Crenshaw.
A car is most convenient. Some guests rely on taxis or Lyft/Uber.

Autres remarques

Check in after 3 pm, check out before 11 am, but flexible options for arrival and departure are often available, upon request. No BBQ outside cooking provided.
Street parking on both sides available (except south side Thursday 10am-12pm and other side Wednesday 10am-12pm).
A child counts as a guest, so a baby and two adults count as three guests.

Thomas was readily available if needed.Good, central neighborhood for getting around and convenient parking inside gate. The bed was very comfortable and the house was spacious.

Thomas' place is a great value - all the amenities are there as mentioned in the listing. Very spacious living space with lots of seating, large kitchen with all necessary utilities, and large bed. Thomas was a fantastic host, providing a walkthrough during check-in even though I checked in close to midnight. The location is great, i.e. close to USC (if that matters to you) and a market plaza is walkable distance. There is a gate w/ lock that adds some time to entering/leaving the property but easy to deal with and adds comfort of security.

Thomas was extremely accommodating and the place was an insanely good value for Los Angeles. Plenty of room, quiet, and safe!

Thomas is a wonderful host who made himself very available if we had questions or needed anything. Comfortable place with every appliance plus more than one would hope for an extended stay. There were even some kitchen appliances I don't even have at home. Tables and desk which is definitely an added plus. It made a brief visit even more comfortable. Also, great lighting which we often don't even find in better hotels.

Thomas was a gracious host, gave us a great introduction to the place and was easily accessible. Check in/out was very easy as well. The space was clean, spacious and had all that we needed and more. Parking was a huge +
