À propos de ce logement

My place is located on the north side of Roslindale, 10 min. walk to Roslindale Square, where you can catch any bus to Forest Hills T stop, the terminus of the Orange T (subway) line. Our neighborhood is very quiet, home to mostly families and professionals. Also within 10 minutes is the famous Fornax Bakery, Village Market and Green T coffee shop. 5 minutes in the other direction on Knoll and Centre Street is Harry's All American Breakfast.

The place itslelf is bright, sunny and quiet.

I have two attractive room
available in a third floor walk up in Roslindale. The apartment is bright and airy with two porches and easy walk to the bus and commuter rail for downtown Boston. Free wi-fi, parking, 10 minute walk to Roslindale Square. I am a traveller myself and like meeting people from all over the world.

My ideal guests are quiet and respectful of my neighbors and leabe the place as they find it. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and come and go as they wish. Parking is ample and unrestricted.

I am a small business owner and my home is also my office, but I am out much of the time and on weekends as well.

Your rental of the room for one person includes the use of the kitchen, bathroom and dining area. The master bedroom is also available when there are two or more guests for an additional $50 per night.

I am there during the day and sime weekends. I am not there at night and ask visitors to be considrate of other neighbors in the building.

We are very close to the Arnold Arboretum which is a wonderful respite in any season from the hustle bustle. I have taken some of my AirBnB guests on bicycle tours of the area, but you don't need me to guide you...just follow your eyes to whatever you like there.

Roslindale Village is very attractive and there is a nice mix of shops, restaurants and a Saturday market from June to October. We are accessible via bus from the Forest Hills T stop and by the Needham Commuter Rail during Weekdays.

Here is an AirBnb Portrait of Roslindale:

People like my place because it is bright and cheery, but they like me as a host because I can direct your visit towards the things you like to do.

You are free to use the kitchen and cook as you like. I ask only that you clean up! My guests are free to use the room or rooms that they have paid for, and I ask that they be quiet and respectful of the two other families that live downstairs.

My space is perfect for solo travellers who need some peace and quiet after the conferance, the training, the event, or for couples looking for some quiet alone time. Please no non-paying guests or party makers.

I request that guests try to arrive during the day if at all possible so I can meet you. Late arriving guests are fine too, as I will make the key available in the lock box, but sadly I will not be there to meet you.

I like to meet with guests, hear their stories, make recommendations. Then you are on your own! I use the other half of the apartment for my office and I am normally there 9 to 5 weekdays.

Roslindale is a vibrant area of Boston, with resturants and cafes, though it is to the Arboretum that I usually direct visitors if they have the time to explore.

There is the commuter rail, and a bus to Forest hills T stop which is the terminus of the subway line to downtown.

I was once a great traveller, though I seem to live my travels through the lives of others now.

I prefer to hire this apartment to guests who are familiar with Air BnB and have either used this service or hosted themselves.

I am very outdoors oriented and love spending time in nature in all seasons. I also enjoy activities with my girlfriend Liz and 11 year old daughter Amelia. We are big campers and kayakers. Rainy days will find us reading aloud to each other, playing bananagrams or watching a movie. We are all artists and love drawing, coloring, crafting. Recently we have taken up stone balancing as our favorite beach activity.

I also host on Air BnB in my Boston home. As I once travelled the world, AirBnB is a way I can give back to those who are more fleet of foot than I am now. I love hearing about ways of life far from here in Boston, and sharing the inside scoop on destinations around town.

If I had to name my life motto....Seize the Twinkie!
