Hi! I'm the bookkeeper, webmaster, social media consultant and photographer at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, Tucson, Arizona. Our Lady of the Desert House of Prayer is our spiritual guest house, located just north of the church on Brian Kent Street. You probably won't meet me during your stay, but I'll be your online guide and liaison. If you happen to be here on Tuesday or Thursday between 10 AM and noon, feel free to stop by the church office and say hi!
I've been a parishioner at St.Michael's for about 18 years, and the church's social media person for about 10 years. I'm on social media as Karen Funk Blocher. I've been a record store co-owner and a writer of Doctor Who trading cards, and I'm working on a series of fantasy novels. My core belief is in mutual tolerance, respect and compassion for all. "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me." Matthew 25:35-37

A graduate of Oxford University, she served at England's famous Canterbury Cathedral before coming to the U.S. Proscovia is the Master of Ceremonies and Master of Acolytes at St. Michael's, assisting our priests at most masses.
