Rustic, small, basic, affordable cabin. Backs up to national forest, 10 minutes from Wild Basin Trail Head of Rocky Mountain National Park, 20 minutes from Estes Park.
No WIFI, no TV, no cell reception (yay!); perfect base camp for those looking to disconnect and enjoy the secluded mountain life for a few days.
The bathroom and kitchen share a room (our long term renters affectionately call it the "bitchen") and there is a door that separates it from the main room. It's a small, yet efficient space with a shower, sink, toilet, mini fridge, decent counter space and almost everything you need out of a kitchen. It is supplied with everything you need to eat, plus a coffee maker, mini fridge, hotplate toaster, toaster oven, sauce pans and skillets. It is a tight space, but if you can handle it you can cook almost anything! There is a grill outside and propane is provided.
Backs up to national forest. Playground at the bottom of the hill, behind The Old Gallery, for children.

As much or as little as you prefer. We do not greet each guest, but instead give them complete privacy. The door will be open and the key will be on the table upon your arrival. You are always welcome to knock on our door if you have a question, or email me through AirBnB, and we will answer your questions.
Perfect for travelers seeking a base camp for their mountain vacation.
Towels, wash cloths, blankets and sheets are provided.
When the sleeper sofa is out the beds touch, so it can be tight. Please consider this seriously before booking if you need your space.
The cabin shares land with our home - please be quiet at night. Dogs allowed, no cats. Smoking outdoors only.
