Lynne was a great host and Miss Peaches is a gem of a houseboat. It was my first time staying in a houseboat and I was not sure what to expect since I was planning to stay for a couple of months. When I was booking the place, Lynne was kind to explain what to expect. Miss Peaches is a delightful houseboat. Not too small and not to big. It's great for one or two people. The photos don't do justice to it. The bottom level of the boat is the kitchen, living room and the bathroom. The second level is the bedroom. The deck upstairs is great to sit on with a couple of chairs. Lynne is on top of things and is easy to reach over phone or email. Unfortunately I could only stay for a month and would stay again if I am ever in Seattle again.

Lynne was in the houseboat when I arrived, putting things together. We were both right on time. She had some pink flowers on the top deck above the door.

It was a short but sweet stay at Miss Peaches....I wish it could have been a bit longer. Great view, cozy/comfortable/charming space with everything you could need. Lynne was friendly and accommodating. Overall it was an excellent and memorable visit. I would recommend it.

Lynne was out of town, but arranged for a replacement host who was very nice and helpful. The location was great, perfect for walking to great restarants and public transportation.

We had a very relaxing stay on Miss Peaches! It is relatively quiet, but occasionally the bridge horn will blow quite early, however, it just adds to the ambiance. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area!

I am a Marine Survey and Investigator inspecting vessels of all sizes, materials and ages. I visited the North west for many Summers as a Sail Trainer on the Tall Ship "Schooner Adventuress - She Celebrates100 years of Sailing this year, built in 1913!
I fell in LOVE with the Northwest and moved here from Arizona, Utah and So California in the Mid 90's. I love working in the Water/ Marine environment and really enjoy all the people I have an opportunity to meet and work with in my job. I especially enjoy the "Brief Encounter" while I host others and share my space and story and the beautiful surroundings.
I do not do EARLY, or without COFFEE, I love to Read Mysteries as it takes me away from the Bilges of Boats. I enjoy learning more about my trade and sharing my knowledge with other professionals as a teacher - One simply never knows, each day, if they will be the Student or the Teacher - ah the Wonder!!!!.
I am a Grandmother and Great Grandmother, and was lucky enough to have found my BIRTH FAMILY after wondering for most of my life! I have been drawn into the fold of the most WONDERFUL Family a girl could have, with Brothers, a Sister In Law, Four Nieces and Nephews and many Great Nieces and Nephews of which I am so very Proud, and of which I cherish every moment with them!! I have three Daughters, all grown, with Four Grandchildren. Only one live really near for which I am eternally grateful to my special daughter Donna for and for my Son In Law who is more like a son to me.
I lived Girl Scouting and Mariner Scouting in So Cal and UTAH and am blessed to have reunions with periodically - some girls are now 50 years old and I am so PROUD of who they all have become and have Contributed to the World!
