This beautiful two-story town home sits on the Caribbean sea offering breathtaking ocean views and cool gentle breezes. The location is a haven for snorkeling, with a reef not far from shore. The townhouse has a tropical modern zen vibe.

This beautiful, newly renovated, two-story town home is for rent in its entirety sits on the Caribbean sea. Its patio offers breathtaking ocean views and cool gentle breezes.

The town home is located on West Bay Street (the main road on the northern coast of the island). There is a small private beach directly behind the condo. It is close to long stretches of beaches on both sides of the condo, public beaches to east (pictured) the beautiful Love Beach (pictured), a long stretch of secluded beach. The location is a haven for snorkeling, with a reef not far from shore. You regularly see crabs and fish from the back patio.

The townhouse has a tropical modern zen feel, combining bright and cool colors, modern amenities, with an emphasis on the natural environment and native building materials.

The first floor has a modern open layout, with a full kitchen (with all the conveniences of home), dining area (can seat up to ten), living room space (with flat screen television). Furnishings are tasteful and are enhanced by contemporary Bahamian art work and furniture design.

The top floor, with natural Abaco pine flooring, has two bedrooms. The master bedroom, overlooking the sea, has a queen-sized bed and en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a separate bath. Sheets and towels are provided.

The condo is located in an historically and culturally significant area. It is very close to the Compass Point Recording Studio – where musical greats like Bob Marley, Grace Jones, and Sly and Robbie recorded. In the spirit of this history, The Studio Cafe occasionally holds concerts and poetry readings and The Compass Point Restaurant often has great local live bands. A boutique hotel and great restaurants, including the Compass Point Restaurant, the Studio Cafe, and Aquafire Grill, are in close walking distance. The town house is also close to the community of Gambier, an historic settlement in the island. At Gambier, you can buy fresh fish, conch salad, and frozen drinks. A road-side convenient mart sells water and snacks.


The location is ideal for the traveler who wants the quiet and beach-side vacation but is also interested in the rich culture of the island.

Jitneys, local buses, are accessible close to the town house, which travel to the Cable Beach casinos and shopping districts, downtown Nassau, and Paradise Island.

I respond to gust comments and concerns and I have a wonderful, attentive, and professional property manager who fills in when I am traveling.

A car is convenient for the first day or two to get settled, do grocery shopping, tour the island etc.
Most of my guests use public transportation. The townhouse is close to a local jitney route. The jitneys are local buses. One of them departs two buildings from the townhouse and runs to downtown, to Cable Beach (a nearby shopping district), to the bridge to Paradise Is, and other districts for $1.75 a passenger. There are restaurants, conch salad vendors, a gourmet food store in walking distance.

One reviewer described the condo as a snorkeler's dream. It is wonderful for those who love the sea.
Increasingly, with five great restaurants and coffee shops minutes walk away, it is becoming a foodie's paradise.

A $300 security deposit is requested when you check in. It is returned when you check out if the premises are clean and not damaged in any manner.

The Tenants shall pay for any damage done to the premises over and above normal wear and tear.

The location of this place is absolutely stunning. You cannot stay closer to the sea. Kris is a very lovely host and you will feel very welcomed. We stayed for 10 days over New Years and absolutely loved it.

Kris is a wonderful host and was there to greet us as we arrived right after our flight. Even before arriving she made every effort to answer our questions and stay in touch to make sure we were comfortable. She even had some basic food items and potable water available since we arrived later in the evening and the stores were closed. A couple things about this property. It's located to a great array of restaurants and bars within a couple minute walking distance. Love beach is fairly close, but there is no direct access unless you walk 15 minutes along the road, probably it is quicker and safer with a car since there are no sidewalks. On the bright side this area is far away from the crowded hotels near Nassau and found Love Beach to be almost deserted, yet we always felt very safe. In our interactions locals were always very friendly and helpful. The views to the open teal ocean are spectacular from the apt terrace. The ocean is literally right below! And with a private pool and steps down to a little stretch of sand and the ocean, it is hard not to like the location. Inside there is a comfortable kitchen and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a private bathroom and a second communal bathroom is available. There is no grocery store within walking distance of the apt so having a car is handy, but not necessary since the jitney (small buses) pick you up right near the apt and can take you almost anywhere for $1.50 per trip. The grocery / liquor stores were about a 15 minute ride going toward Nassau. Another great feature is how close this property is to the airport - just a 10 minute taxi ride. Thanks Kris!
