My wife and I have been living for more than a month in the flat. Location is very close to subway, 15 minutes ride to Manhattan. Calm and nice area, close to botanical garden and Prospect park. There are couple of small shops around. The owner is very helpful and responsive. Small studio, but there are everything you need - kitchen with utilities; own bathroom separated from the studio.

This was my first time using airbnb and I stayed for a long work trip. Linda is deservedly a super host and I highly recommend after my long stay. The place is extremely comfortable and quiet and has absolutely everything you need. Linda was always able to fix things where needed etc and takes great care to provide all that you need. I found the studio to be perfectly equipped, it really made my life so much easier not to have to buy lots of stuff etc. I left early every morning and returned late at night weekdays and weekends and always felt very safe. There is the amazing Bagel Pub around the corner and a great coffee place opposite it. Also the laundrette is great nearby. You can run in Prospect Park about 4 or 5 blocks away which is super and there is a farmers market there at the weekend. The Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Gardens are minutes from Linda's place. There are several train options 2/3/4/5 and C with a walk and so its fantastic. Some other person reviewing here complained about the shower and I cleaned it everyday, it is old and needs to be done regularly to keep it in better condition. There were different people staying here at different times in the building but never caused me any noise issues etc. The heating comes on the morning at 5.30am very loudly which might concern some but earplugs should help. I stayed also during two bad snow storm and the place was adequately heated and comfortable for a snow day. This place is deservedly that of a super host!

Great little place and an amazing location, with great restaurants, cafes, the subway into Manhattan just a short walk away. Would recommend to anyone who is going to be out and about during the day and just needs a place to rest their head at night

I stayed for one month in Linda's apartment since November 19 to December 17. Overall the stay was excellent. Linda is an excellent host and will respond to any questions you may have very fast. The apartment was very cozy, private and fully equipped with all the amenities listed. It is located in Franklin Avenue which has various restaurants to choose from my personal favorite being a Mexican place called Chavela's. It is 5 minutes away walking from a train station from which you can get to Manhattan in less than 20 minutes. Overall I would highly recommend staying in this apartment that being for work related reasons or for vacation.

We stayed 1 week at this apartment and it was great. For 2 people it's perfect, I think than for more than 2 it could get a little bit crowded. The place is in a great location (1 block away from the subway station and with a store and restaurants nearby) it was also very clean. It has everything that you need. Linda and Wayne were very helpful and even helped us to get a ride to the airport. I will definitely stay at this place if I go back to NYC.

Linda's apart was a great home for our 11 days in New York! Less than 20 min and we were in Manhattan! It's located near the subway, in a safe neighborhood with markets and restaurants. The apart was fully equipped and clean! Linda and her brother Wayne (who lives near the house) are friendly and helpful! Thank you Linda and Wayne!!

My travels include traveling to Ghana, West Africa with The Experiment in International Living, Germany, Amsterdam, Iceland, and throughout the Caribbean. My passion is fine art and I have worked on numerous art projects throughout my lifetime. My greatest adventure in the arts was traveling to the island of Anguilla and participating in the first International Arts Festival on that island. One of the five artists that traveled with me was the grand prize winner and has been celebrated with a postage stamp of the art piece that won the contest. 43 artists from around the world participated. I enjoy meeting people and enhancing their travel experience when they visit New York and Washington, DC. I am very resourceful and always willing to be of assistance. Traveling is theraputic and I enjoy knowing that the experience is rewarding for my guests as much as it is for me when I travel.
