We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Larry's farmhouse! He's a great host and very interesting to talk with. He made us a wonderful breakfast of pancakes and bacon, etc. and shared his home graciously. Love the chickens, the stone patio, and the rural setting very much! It is definitely a true Vermont vintage farmhouse down to the last detail. Our only comment would be that due to that fact, the sounds travel from whatever activity is in the house. Not a problem just a comment. We loved it and would come again!

Larry's farm is absolutely beautiful. He is a thoughtful host who has created a truly memorable experience for guests in his period farmhouse. The location is wonderful - quiet and with wonderful views - but also is just a 10-15 minute drive to all of the attractions and amenities in Middlebury (restaurants, bars, etc) - so it is a good base to explore this area.

We're so pleased we spent the night with Larry at the farm. If you want a quiet, picturesque escape to a restored 200 plus year old farmhouse then this is a perfect destination. Great value, comfortable, warm hospitality, and a delicious breakfast. Conveniently located near Middlebury and Snake Mountain

The Best Bed & Breakfast experience. Clean, pleasant, great breakfasts and really nice host. So glad to have the experience. Being from a big city we really enjoyed the rural setting (including the sheep).

This was noe of the best AirBBs I've ever stayed at! Amazing room, so classic and antique, from every detail of the house to the sheep farm to the location outside of MB. The house is extremely quiet, and Larry is nothing short of being one of the best hosts I have had the pleasure to encounter; he made an amazing breakfast for me every morning and was extremely helpful on recommendations of things to do and see around town. I will 100% percent be back here in November; thanks for such a great stay Larry!

What a wonderful stop on our trip through Vermont. We were grateful to Larry for being such a helpful, friendly host. We enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack swing and watching the sheep at sunset, hiking up nearby snake mountain, and having an awesome home cooked breakfast from Larry! Would love to visit again. Thanks!

I came to Vermont more than a dozen years ago, when I fell in love with this early farmhouse, the mountain location, and the fields below. As I tried to decide how to answer the inevitable “What do you want to be when you grow up?” question (the answer still eludes me), I apprenticed at one of the restaurants associated with Philadelphia’s famed “restaurant renaissance” while attending graduate school for cultural anthropology. Besides the B & B (and ongoing restoration projects) I teach Latin American Studies at SUNY in Plattsburgh, and raise polled Dorset sheep.
