This is a rental for the family that does not want to sacrifice a spacious home, full of amenities for a hotel room. A complete renovation was done in 2013, everything is new! We only accept a few rentals per year, please be our guest.


Enjoy spacious open floor plan with all new contemporary decor. You have 2 covered parking spots, but you can walk to the in-town bus stop or all the way into the Village. Save time and money by cooking your own meals in the large modern chef's kitchen with 5 burner gas range with 2 ovens. Or, use the outdoor grill, with a view! Dining room table expands to seat 8. Or lounge around the kitchen counter or breakfast bar. Crash on the down-filled sofa after your day on the mountain. You may have to fight over who gets to use the "tree house" master suite.
*Entertainment system includes: 60" Plasma TV, Bose sound bar, ceiling speakers, Apple Docking to the stereo.
*All bedrooms have ceiling fans, 400 thread-count linens and new mattresses (most are memory foam)
*Bed room configuration: Master "tree house" has a King bed, Bunk room has a Bunk bed with double size lower and twin upper, also a Day bed with second pull out to two twins (cannot be separated), Queen room has queen-size bed
*Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining.
*Full-size washer and dryer in the unit
*All bathrooms have heated floors

The Sandstone neighborhood offers some of the best views in the Valley. The southeast exposure and elevation of the home afford a maximum of sunshine, throughout the day. You will not find this advantage in East or West Vail.

Vail is a year-round resort. It is hard to say which season is the best. Skiing or riding in winter, hiking or biking in summer, the changing of the colors in the fall? There is a trail head just a few blocks from the condo. If you enjoy eating out, you will be in heaven. Dozens of the finest and most fun restaurants are all nearby. If you prefer to cook, there are two large grocery stores nearby.

We live in Denver, and can offer advice and tips for your Colorado vacation.


Located in the Sandstone neighborhood. Coveted for its sunny location and views of the ski resort and surrounding mountains. There is nothing like this in East or West Vail.


The condo is about 100 yards from the free Town of Vail shuttle, which runs every 20-30 minutes in the winter. It is only a 7 minute ride to the Vail Transportation Center, at the base of Bridge Street in the Village.

You have 2 assigned covered parking spots. You can take CME (Colorado Mountain Express) directly from Denver International or Eagle airports.

We highly recommend renting and storing your ski equipment in Vail Village. You will love wearing your street shoes and not carrying your heavy gear.


If at all possible, plan your travel to NOT arrive on a Friday, or depart on a Sunday. The popularity of the mountain resorts means a great deal of traffic and extensive delays.

Please note that there is no land line for telephone service at the condo. We have found that everyone seems to have a cell phone.

There are 4 short flights from the parking level to the "tree house".

We expect you to treat our home as you would your own and to follow all of the guidelines in the manual. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property, inside or out. No pets allowed. Please be considerate of others staying within the complex, we are a close community.

Michelle was a lovely host, very welcoming and extremely helpful with her local knowledge of the area. Once our booking was confirmed she sent us invaluable emails on child care options, transport schedules, restaurant recommendations etc. The house is in excellent condition and was clean and comfortable. It’s views a spectacular and the layout worked perfectly for our group of friends including our little bub. All through our trip if we ever needed any advice, I would have a reply from Michelle in under an hour, if not immediately. We did a lot of research on accommodation in Vail prior to booking this apartment and overall I could not give a higher recommendation for the apartment, it was everything we wanted it to be. Thanks again Michelle!

Working with Michelle was simple and the place was amazing, even better than the pictures. Spacious, industrial yet rustic and plenty of space for a larger party. We were very pleased with the assistance Michelle offered, she helped make this comfortable for our trip and provided lots of insight into activities in the area for New Year's. Overall, the value and location are great, the place even more stunning. Very cozy, warm and filled with all the supplies needed to cook any feast. Overall, if you're looking for a hot spot in Vail, this is the place to rent.

We had a great time staying at Michelle's place. She was really nice and helpful and the house is beautiful. I would really recommend staying here, it is much nicer than the hotels in Vail and is easy to get into town either walking or by car/cab.
