À propos de ce logement
The Wadsworth house is unique for it was built by the artist, Charles Wadsworth in a Frank Lloyd Wright style. Views of Acadia park are breathtaking. The beaches are fun to explore. The swimming pool, gator and tennis games provide hours of fun.
Unplug from technology and come to a beautiful hand built cottage perched upon a ledge. It has views of the Acadia Park mountains and the sail boat race course. Through a wooded path you will find a private beach for nature walks and collecting sea glass. There are 6 acres of surrounding property for exploration and another acre that is a wild bird sanctuary.
Included in the rental is a John Deer Gator for tooting around the island as well as a good supply of bikes. The pool provides hours of entertainment for children and the tennis club offers free beginner and intermediate lessons. On a rainy day the house is filled with board games and books. And there is Internet access, if you need to work while the family plays.
Cranberry is a small rustic island ideal for those who love stunning sunsets and delicious seafood. Acadia Park provides many hiking routes and is great for backpackers. If you like to sail, rental boats can be obtained at Northeast Harbor.
The island is also home to a wide range of bird life and native deer. It provides copious scenic views for the photographer or artist (for the professional artist a studio is available). There are numerous art shows (paintings by local talents), movies and concerts provided by the historical society and upon occasion the community center will even sponsor a high tea.
If you want to unwind, get away from the rush of the city and recharge your inner battery, this is the place for you.

I am a professional musician and music teacher. I have been coming to Cranberry Island since I was born and I am passionate about beach walks and collecting sea glass. I perform in Church every Sunday and I view my summer on the island as a way to sooth my soul and recharge my creative energies.
