Warm and welcoming, roomy basement apartment with private entrance in mid-century modern ranch style home. Some might call it unique, cool or hip. Others will experience it as serene and welcoming. It's a vibrant and active neighborhood with lots of places to go and things to do. The beauty of Missoula is all that and more.
This apartment is nicely furnished, complete with linens, bath and kitchen supplies, warm and inviting, sleeps 6-8 comfortably with 2 very large bedrooms (one queen and one full), an inner spring futon in the large living room, 2 twin roll away beds and 2 air mattresses that can be placed in bedrooms or large living room. A Pack and Play and high chair are provided for little ones. Lots of TV programming via Roku and WIFI is also included.
The efficiency kitchen includes a fridge, two-burner electric stove top, range hood with light, single sink, coffee maker, microwave and small convection oven. All cooking utensils, cookware and even spices are provided. Of course, with literally hundreds of unique restaurants nearby, you'll be eating out most of the time. But when you eat in, there's seating for four at the dining table and seating for four more at the bistro table and island in the kitchen. And there's always freshly ground coffee and special teas in the cupboard.
You'll find very large egress windows in the living room and each bedroom for lots of daylight sun. Want to enjoy the outdoors close to home? You'll have easy access to the small side yard with outdoor table and seating.
This is the ideal location for getting anywhere in Missoula, from the mall to downtown to the University or walk to the fairgrounds and Glacier Ice Rink, shopping and dining. Some of Missoula’s best recreation areas are right here within walking distance. Spring through autumn, Playfair Park is bustling with activity as families congregate among the soccer fields, tennis courts, and the very modern water park, Splash Montana.
Missoula offers free bus service and a bus stop is less than a block away. The Albertson's grocery store complex is a two block walk. There's plenty of street parking in front of this unit and easy access from the airport. The new Kohl's and Cabela's as well as new restaurants are all within an easy walk.

Guests have access to the owner's laundry room and half bath in a common area as well as a side yard with seating for guests. Please note that this is a basement space with stairs. There are large egress windows in living room and both bedrooms that let in lots of daylight sun and fresh air.

As the owner who lives in upstairs unit, I respect your privacy and will only interact with you if you need help.
I have two dogs (border collie and mini aussie mix) in my fenced yard and upstairs in my unit. You won't come in contact with them but will hear them occasionally. This is a basement apartment with stairs and not handicapped accessible.
- Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11am.
- Pets are not allowed.
- No loud parties or smoking. Quiet time is 10pm until 9am.
- Overnight guests that are not registered must be approved and paid for.
- Please leave the apartment the same way you found it.

I am blessed with two spaces to share as vacation rentals. I live in a ranch style home in Missoula where I have a large basement apartment plus a family cabin in Seeley Lake. I have traveled the U.S. and Europe staying in vacation homes and apartments and much prefer it to a hotel for the extra room and freedom. I enjoy meeting new people and being a host. Montana is an awesome place with so many things to do. I love calling it my home and sharing it with others.
