The villa Plantation View is situated in the grounds of an old plantation house Pollards Mill, which was built in 1712. The villa newly built is on 2 floors and very spacious, with ensuite bath and shower. It has far reaching views to the sea.
It is unique, because of its location, which is very beautiful, peaceful and away from the maddening crowd, but still within easy reach of beaches, restaurants etc.
The property is situated on the south east coast and there are many wonderful beaches within a 10 minute drive of Pollards Mill. These include the famous Crane beach at the well known Crane resort.
There are several very good restaurants at the Crane from the very exclusive Zen to the lovely Carriage House suitable for snacks near the pool.

I meet my guests at the airport and transport them to the accommodation. I live on site and so am available to answer queries and organise outings etc. I try to have my guests for drinks or dinner during their stay.
There are many great attractions within easy reach of the property.
I do not expect my guests to invite a lot of visitors to the property e.g. a party or function. Otherwise I am pretty flexible.
The reason I bought Pollards Mill is because it is a beautiful, tranquil and idyllic place, which I fell in love with and reminded me of one of my favourite books 'Gone with the Wind'. I knew that it was calling to me to come here and live the dream. It has been a wonderful project and I enjoy so much having all the different visitors and seeing how much they enjoy staying at Pollards Mill, and appreciating its charm like I do! I am energetic, creative and enjoy entertaining so this has given me plenty of scope for all of the above.
I enjoy reading and belong to a book club here, my taste ranges from an easy to read romance to the more serious classics, but I also like a good who dunnit. My taste in movies is probably pretty much the same! I like to travel, but I am always pleased to return to the 'Paradise' that is Pollards Mill.
I would find it hard to survive without a good book to read and some music from the crooning era. My wardrobe is also important to me as I have a great interest in clothes and shoes.
I think my favourite way to travel probably has to be by car as there are no restrictions!
As I have said I like to entertain and cook different kinds of food, which is great when I am cooking for my guests!
I have faced many challenges in my life, but I believe in the silver lining and remaining as positive and philosophical as one can despite what is thrown at one.
I have been guided throughout my life by a favourite motto that my father used to quote when I was growing up 'Life is merely froth and bubble, but two things stand alone, help in another's trouble, courage in your own' I have pretty much tried to live by that.
