I am strictly a Fine Art Photographer working mainly in Mexico for the past 40 years. My studio is in Merida, Yucatan. My exhibited work is primarily black and white photographs and photogravures. "Black and White Magazine" had a six page spread specifically on my photogravures a few years ago (issue 50). I have had a few exhibitions of paintings and etchings as well.

Besides Mexico, I have several portfolios from Greece, France, Turkey, Cuba, Afghanistan, and of course, the United States.

I love meeting new people, traveling throughout the Yucatan exploring the villages and customs of the Mexican and Mayan cultures. Sometimes I will make a photograph, sometime I just enjoy the moment. Rarely do I leave on an adventure with a plan! How can you 'plan' to accidentally meet an amazing Mayan women who is making 'pibes de pollo'(chicken tamales) in her underground earth-oven in her back yard to offer to her departed loved ones on the 'Day of the Dead?"

Some of my students and other artists have said, if they cannot photograph or paint, they cannot live... I think, if you don't have a 'life' you have nothing to photograph or paint, therefore, nothing to say! So I am first in search of adventure, then maybe it will turn into something I want to express, like a piece of artwork for others to contemplate, or it is saved as another life experience for me to contemplate.
