Fully equipped and spacious cook's kitchen includes: coffee maker, refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, microwave, 5 burner gas range, and Dacor convection oven. One of a kind, 11ft Indonesian ladder trestle table situated by the gas fireplace has hosted some amazing spreads, and musical guests can enjoy looking through scores and playing the 1925 Hobart M Cable upright.

OCCUPANCY

The person making the reservation must be at least 25 years of age. All guests must be at least 25 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or have advance written permission.

Reservations are good for the number of guests detailed on your confirmation. Maximum occupancy for Unit A is four (4) adults. Exceptions can be considered for guests traveling with infants. Additional charges are incurred when unit occupancy exceeds four (4) adults.

We do not allow "parties" or "events" in our home. With advance notification and approval, you may have a small gathering with friends and family. However, at no time are you allowed to have any kind of party or celebration in the home with more than four (4) guests over the number on your confirmation without prior WRITTEN permission. People other than those in the Guest Party may not stay overnight at the property.

By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any loss, harm, illness, or injury, arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

Guests are NOT allowed to smoke on the property.

Pets are NOT allowed on the property.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Unlike hotels, we do not have last minute requests every day and thus, have a strict cancellation policy to ensure we are not left with open days on our calendar. If for any reason you anticipate the need to cancel this reservation, please purchase trip or travel insurance to protect yourself.** Our cancellation policy is firm.

No refunds if you do not show for your reservation
No refunds of extra person charges for extra guests who do not show.

Receipt of a deposit or payment on this confirmation signifies that you have read and understand the terms of this agreement and the terms of the cancellation policy.

** Trip insurance can be purchased online from various sources at reasonable rates. Simply search Trip Insurance online and you will find many options.


GUEST ACCESS, ARRIVAL, and PARKING INFORMATION

Several days prior to your arrival we will forward details for accessing the key safe at the property. If you have an reserved on-site-parking space we will forward additional information at this time. Additional guest information that includes unit features, wifi password, neighborhood resources, restaurant recommendations, and transportation options, can be found in the unit.

Onsite-parking, available for $15 night, must be reserved in ADVANCE of your stay. Upon arrival, it is helpful to have guests provide vehicle license info upon so we can assure only authorized vehicles park on the property.


While we do not require your travel itinerary, it is helpful to know when our guests plan to arrive so we are available to address any questions. We prefer to make arrival arrangements with guests fairly close to their arrival date to avoid confusion, however, if you must have this information sooner, please let us know.


CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT

Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is 11 AM.

Subject to our reservation calendar, special accommodation for an early check-in or late check-out may be arranged. However, we are not able to make guarantees far in advance of your stay. An early check-in or late check-out typically can be arranged only a couple days prior to your arrival, as the details of other guest reservations may not be known until the last minute.

Scheduling housekeeping can be a difficult task, so we appreciate knowing the time you plan to leave the property. Because we often coordinate check-in on the same day you check out, assisting our housekeeping staff with timely departure is appreciated if you have not made alternate arrangements.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Please note that although this agreement comes with the following list of ‘disclaimers’, our goal is to provide guests with exceptional service. We truly appreciate our guests and will do our best to accommodate your stay. We offer this information so that you understand renting a private home is a bit different than renting a hotel, B&B, or guest house, where full time staff is available to assist you.

We maintain our home very well, but as with any home, things can happen at any time. If there are issues with power, cable, internet, plumbing, appliances, etc., that arise during your stay, please understand that it's just part of life and we will address the issue as quickly as possible. We will do our best to have our contractors, utility companies, and others, take care of the issues, but it may cause minor inconvenience if we need to come onto the property to make repairs. If you need assistance please email or text.

We will do our best to assist with speedy repairs, but no refunds will be given if you encounter any issues like these in the home. We also do not offer refunds for acts or nature, family emergencies, national disasters or national security issues. We strongly suggest that you purchase travel insurance that will cover you for anything that may arise if you have any concerns about any of the above information.

Lastly, please keep in mind that our property is in a residential neighborhood. We ask that you respect your neighbors and we hope they will respect you. Please be considerate of others in the residence. We thankfully have experienced no issues in our home and find that guests are very respectful of each other. If you do encounter something that is an issue with another guest please try to work it out directly. If you can't find resolution or a problem continues, please contact us with a few details so we can assist.

We had a really great stay at Scott's apartment. It was well outfitted, comfortable and very clean as well as being very accessible to many restaurants. It was a bit hot a few nights due to the unusually warm temperatures but Scott did what he could to make us a comfortable as possible. The apartment is very spacious and quiet(even with the Pride activities going on) making it great for families. For small children however, take note of the cables on the railings and a small opening on the side of one of the stairs that might not be visible. Wasn't a problem for us or is unsafe in anyway but just something to be aware of with little kids.

We absolutely loved the Location. Unit B was spotless and creatively appointed. We used the Parking Option and with Uber car service we were 'door to door' in minutes and at a good fare. The Koi were playful and peaceful in their pond. Great restaurants and entertaining venues were within walking distance, and we had a great experience.

A spacious urban loft with every convenience, and a relaxing retreat with every comfort, conveniently located in the heart of Capitol Hill. Scott offers an immediate reply to any question or concern. I highly recommend.

The house was lovely and in the bustling Capital Hill neighborhood. Scott was terrific and so accommodating. I needed to do an important work conference call after the checkout time, and he was really gracious to let me come back to the house while it was being cleaned so I could do my call! Recommended!

The apartment is in a great location. Plenty of places close by the eat, drink and shop. Public transit is just about 3 blocks away. We walked pretty much everywhere. The apartment is as described. There a large deck that we spent as much time on we could. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed on the main floor is very comfortable. There is a very strange odor in the main living area. We opened all the windows and doors to the deck, which caused it to dissipate. It never was in the bedroom. Just the kitchen/living area. Overall we would stay there again.

The place was clean, well stocked with soaps and all the things you forget about. Great kitchen and huge table to eat. The beds were super comfortable, clean sheets and plenty of clean towels. It's in a great location to walk downtown (25ish minutes), or it's a block from a few bus lines. Plenty to do in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.
