Your own room in a Parkdale flat on Queen West. Typically my roommate's room, but he's on the road working. Room has futon bed & desk. Shared amenities with other guests include: kitchen, bathroom, backyard, washer/dryer, wifi with all the bandwidth.
My roommate Bob's room. Bob works as a touring musician so if this room is available, it means he's on the road. There's a desk with a drawer available, some cubby holes for your things, a nightstand with a couple of drawers available, and a colourful floor lamp. The closet is full of Bob's things and he'll be back soon enough so this space is only available for short to medium term stays.

You can keep to yourself or say hi. Three of us live in this house, so we may be busy working, or maybe we'll be relaxing and enjoying ourselves and be able to visit & make better hosts. Craig is home a lot because he works from home as a programmer. I am sometimes home a lot, it depends on the week. Bob is home a lot if he's not travelling. You can really set the tone for how much socializing with us you want to do during your stay, we are easy going people.
We are late night people. We respect our overnight guests and keep quiet at night. Sometimes we have guests over with whom we visit or work in the household common areas. If you let us know when you are going to sleep or need quiet time we will be sure to respect that and keep our volume down :)
We have no smoking indoors of any kind, and no pets due to allergies. We are not a kid-proof house, so this is best for singles or couples (or friends), but not families. If you wish to smoke (cigarettes or "jazz" cigarettes, so to speak - this is a 420-friendly group:) you can do so outside on our deck or in the yard. We ask you to clean up after yourself and leave the place how you found it. We can wash the towels and bedding when your stay is done. We also ask that you help us keep this a relatively scent-free house, by taking it easy on things like spraying perfume or cologne (or spray deodorant or air fresheners) and by not burning incense or scented candles, since we can be sensitive. Thank you for understanding.
