Autres remarques

Many species of native flowers and plants grow here, some rare, some endangered. Walminda is also very self-sufficient. Making our own resources is a way of life here. Really nice and special farm to stay! Animals just around you, and you may lay down on the top roof to enjoy your "star" night, great experience! Nice and friendly owner and his family.

An interesting and enjoyable experience. The bus we stayed in was pretty old and dilapidated, which is fine and what it's all about, so we were pleasantly surprised to see how clean it was. It didn't look clean but it actually was and that's very important. It's on an old farm full of all sorts of old and interesting things, like old cars, machinery, farming equipment, and the house too. There are also many native mammals and birds, as well as farm birds, and you can feed all of them. Our young son absolutely loved it all, especially staying in an old bus which he pretended to drive (or fly like a plane) and now wants us to get a bus too! I could see the other child guests really enjoying it too.

We had a great time at Waminda. It was a very different experience staying in the bus and watching the emus and kangaroos on the property. We enjoyed feeding them and all the birds too. Ian and his wife were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our time there

We had a wonderful time staying at Waminda for 2 nights, our 2 boys (& dad) enjoyed feeding the animals & then having breakfast together with the hosts & volunteers each morning. A brilliant experience & would certainly like to stay again, many thanks to Ian, Chailaw & your team for a wonderful educational experience. Ian, Harry & Nathan
