I am a workaholic who believes in volunteering more time than I have to give. My passions are historic preservation, organic gardening, beekeeping, fly fishing, kayaking, my grandsons and disaster relief for the Red Cross. This spring I am planning a mission trip to Costa Rica. I only like movies that make me laugh out loud because life is otherwise much too serious.
I have traveled in Honduras, Kenya, Rome, Canada, throughout the United States, and have lived in Japan for 2 years where my son was born. I have operated a B&B for 17 years and added the guest houses about 5 years ago. My guests have come from Europe, Asia, the middle East, South America, Canada and, of course, the United States. When I travel , I like to go with little planning and just enjoy what comes my way.
I truly believe that "what goes around, comes around". God has been good to me.
