Located midway between The Dublin School and Dublin Lake, atop historic Dublin Village, this classic cedar shake year-round summer house is filled with art and open spaces. You're a seven minute walk from the base of Mount Monadnock's famous Pompelli Trail. By car, Keene is 20 minutes and Peterborough is 8 minutes. Explore other nearby charming villages, such as Harrisville, Hancock, and Jaffrey. It's also a wonderful area for cycling, and stopping at a quaint general store for refreshment!

Le logement
The room is on the second floor, with two twin beds and its own private bathroom. We have the two twins moved together to form a seamless king-size bed, but it can be configured either way you want (Airbnb requires us to choose one type of bed or another in the listing). You have a shared entry to the house, but a private staircase, which allows you to come and go as you please. My husband and I look forward to hosting you in our three story summer house, which has been converted into a comfortable year round residence. Our dog, Mellie, is very friendly and does not bark -- she loves visitors, and is a very calm greeter.

Accès des voyageurs
Located next to the room is an alcove with a small frig and microwave. At your request, we also offer the use of our kitchen to prepare snacks or light meals.

In addition, during the winter months, we have a wood-stove in our comfortable living room that is hard to resist. Upon request, it is yours to cozy up to with a good book, game of backgammon, or conversation.

It’s a large house and we don’t want you to get lost, so we limit the rental use to just the rooms mentioned above.

The house overlooks Dublin Village, with views of the Village Circle and the church steeple below, set against the Peterborough mountains. We are neighbors to Dublin School, which in summer hosts the Walden School music concerts and choral singing (not audible from the house, but a delightful walk away). Mount Monadnock access trails and Dublin Lake are a five minute walk down the street.

Teacher, artist, gardener, tennis player, nature lover, spirited friend. Moved back to Dublin from living in Los Angeles to be near family and raise our three kids. Occasionally travel to our vacation home in the South of France. We love to spend summer afternoons on Dublin lake and walk the trails of Monadnock Mountain. In the winter months our large, comfortable home lights up with family and friends from afar.
