This spacious, well-stocked, immaculate RV with large picture windows provides grand views of the impressive Connecticut River and local mountains. The RV is situated on a scenic, private waterfront property that provides easy access to launch our canoes and kayaks into the river. The guests gain access to the property through a quiet neighborhood, past a farm with an old barn, and down a private right of way.

Le logement
The property is yours to explore and use freely, as though it were your own. We provide lawn games such as badminton, lawn bocce, bean bag toss, croquet, plenty of indoor games, DVD's w/ player, puzzles, books, etc. There are kayaks and canoes for you to borrow, free of charge, down by the river's edge (just please don't forget to put your life jackets on before heading out). You can explore the river up and downstream between the two dams, and you can explore the islands as well. The adventurous can pull their canoes out of the river and walk around the dam to continue on their journey upstream. Fishing is a great activity out on the river with an abundance of fresh water fish for the catching! You'll enjoy cooking up some juicy steaks on the gas grill while sitting out at your picnic table while taking in the breathtaking views of the river. In the evening, you can kick back and have smores while sharing stories around the campfire. Before you retire for the night, be impressed by the awesome northern night sky with such vibrant, bright stars and constellations like you've never seen before!

Monroe, New Hampshire, États-Unis

This location is very rural with chicken and dairy farms scattered across the landscape. The neighborhood that our guests pass through has a dozen or so private properties. The backdrop to the neighborhood is Hunt Mountain where guests can hike and enjoy the beauty of a brook running down off the mountain. The town of Monroe is located halfway between Woodsville, NH and Littleton, NH, both towns with plenty of shopping and services for our guest's convenience.

Although an R.N. by profession, my heart is in the hospitality industry and I enjoy sharing my passion for the mountains and nature with as many people as possible, from all walks of life. My goal is to offer peaceful, relaxing and beautiful places for guests who are looking to re-energize themselves. And, I hope to do this at an affordable rate so many people can enjoy what I have to offer. My interest in the hospitality industry began many years ago when My husband, Karl and I began opening up our home in Uxbridge, Massachusetts to people who needed a short or long-term place to stay. We rented out bedrooms in our home and shared our kitchen, living room, beautiful sunroom with views, and our only bathroom with a shower, with our guests. Many were complete strangers to us yet we opened up our home and invited them to use it as though it were their own. We felt it was "our calling" to share our home with others in need and envisioned moving up north to NH where we could be more involved in the hospitality industry in the beautiful White Mountains Region. We ended up settling in Grafton County, NH, and finally in the charming town of Monroe, along the Connecticut River. Karl took an early retirement package from his job at Thermo-Fisher Scientific in Massachusetts after struggling to perfom his job as an electronics technician due to Parkinson's Disease. I took a position as a school nurse at a boarding school in Haverhill, NH and we began our adventure of living in NH and the mountain region. Karl was a very devoted husband who was the "wind beneath my wings,," and with his encouragement and help he enabled me to fulfill our dream of owning a cabin on a mountain ("Secluded Mountain Cabin on 24 Acres with Big Views")which we are now able to share with so many others. Sadly, in 2019, after 40 years of marriage, Karl lost his battle with Parkinson's Disease, but I carried on with our vision of pursuing our love of hospitality and opened up several beautiful view properties for travelers to enjoy. Thankfully, Karl's caregiver and our dear friend, Jeff, has faithfully provided the needed support and help to care for all the properties to enable our vision to be carried forward. Karl and I have two wonderful children - a daughter who became a special education teacher and is now raising 5 children with her educator husband, and a son who is presently enjoying a post doctoral position in Atmospheric Chemistry at NASA. For fun, I enjoy hiking with the family, taking my two standard poodles (Tucker & Lexi) for walks; biking, kayaking, writing, community theater and using my creativity to beautify and improve the properties for guests. I feel God has blessed me with the opportunity to share these beautiful places with so many travelers and I hope people walk away feeling refreshed and inspired by the experience of living isolated away from the pressures of life in the beautiful North Country of New Hampshire.
