I live in the front unit and am home much of the time, so I'm very accessible if you have questions.
I was born and raised on this property. My dad built the cottage adjacent to the "big house" in around 1952 for his mom to live in. She had acquired the property with her husband in the 1930s. I have a photo of my dad freshly returned from WWII on the porch I now call my own.
We restored and updated both houses in 1994. It is a labor of love to create a comfortable space for people when they are away from home. Weddings, reunions, new grandchildren, and simply the beauty of the Bay Area have brought visitors to us, and we have enjoyed hosting them all!
