Nestled in a quiet street in the heart of Sliema, this newly refurbished apartment is a great option for anyone looking to reside in a central location, close to all amenities. This apartment forms part of a block of apartments housed in a restored Sliema townhouse, which stills bears the same façade in accordance to the other townhouses located on the same street. This first-floor apartment reachable with a flight of steps from the main entrance.

This quaint apartment has been newly refurbished, to ensure that a pleasant stay with all commodities. The main door leads to a combined living and dining area, equipped with a modern Italian-design kitchen with all the necessary appliances. The traditional Maltese wooden balcony looking over the street provides an experience in itself, where one can enjoy the outdoors, indoors. The balcony is also furnished with a table and chairs to offer a relaxing dining experience.

The main bedroom of the apartment is comprised of a double bed, and even a single bed. There is also the possibility of sleeping a third person in this apartment, as there is a third, single bed tucked in a nook just off of the main bedroom. The adjoining bathroom is a good-sized family bathroom, fitted with a bathtub with shower built-in.

The apartment comes complete with a/c wall hung units in both bedroom an living room. Also wifi and tv come for free for unlimited usage.

This apartment combines all the necessary elements for an enjoyable stay that will not break the bank. The location of this apartment makes it ideal for anyone looking to spend a car-free holiday in the hub of all the action – shops are just 5 minutes away, as are restaurants and bars. The bus stops to St Julians and to Valletta are literally just a few minute walk away from the apartment, and the ferry to Valletta is situated in close proximity as well. Grocery shops are just round the corner, while a short walk gets you to the Sliema Promenade, where all the hustle and bustle is.

Autres remarques

Due to cleaning necessities the check-in time for the apartments is generally 2.00pm and the check-out is at 10.00am however if there are no arrivals on the same day the apartment can be kept for longer.

Please not that for the weekly price the property includes basic utilities as per below:
- 100KWh- for 1 bedroom apartment
- 150KWh- for 2 bedroom apartment
- 200KWh- for 3 bedroom/ 4-bedroom apartment
- 300KWh- for villas
We give the above kWh free per week with the apartment which is more than sufficient . However if the inclusive amount of KWh will be exceed, an extra charge will apply at a rate of 0. 35c per KWh. Other than that there are no other hidden expenses or charges.

Also please note that when the monthly rate is selected, the price will NOT be inclusive of any utilities. Those would be paid for as much as one consumes. On check in a payment of 70euro for utility start up will be requested. If not used the difference will be refunded if used more though, the difference will have to be paid for.

Cleaning of the property prior the arrival and after departure is included in the price. Any extra cleaning during accommodation will incur extra charges. Two sets of towels per person and one set of linen per bed is also provided by us, then it is up to one's discrepancy to wash them as much often as desired.

Apartment also available for long term booking of 6 months period maximum with a monthly rate, in such case utilities will not be included in the rate. Please do ask for quote should you be interested

Please note that the rental price does not include the Environmental Contribution tax, introduced on June 2016 amounting to €0.50c per night up to a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay in the Maltese Islands. This applies for 18-year-old and older.

NO Smoking This is a STRICTLY NO SMOKING property. Pets PETS are not permitted under any conditions.

Damage Deposit A security deposit of EUR300 is automatically secured by the site. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully released provided the following provisions are met.
•No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. •No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
•All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in waste collection points/dumpster, and soiled dishes are cleaned. Please note that rubbish timetable collection will be sent to you prior your arrival and it is found in our property as well.
•On checkout, the set of keys should left on the kitchen table.
•All charges accrued during the stay - if any - are to be paid prior departure.
•No linens, towels etc are lost or damaged.
•Early check-in or late checkout are permitted only upon request and upon availability.
•The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by the host.
•The burning of candles on the premises is strictly not allowed.
•The electricity and water usage does not exceed the limits set-out hereunder

Electricity & Water Usage
We operate a fair usage policy. The limited allowance is very generous and should more than suffice on normal usage. However, if lights and particularly air-conditioning are unnecessarily left on when not in the property or if the water is left running for no reason the allowance will be exceeded. Air-conditioning should NOT be left running if doors, windows or other apertures are left open as this will cause consumption to spike. Both electricity and water meters will be read on arrival and departure to calculate the usage. In the event that you have used more than the allowance for the property, the additional usage will be charged at current rates and deducted from your security bond [electricity will be charged extra at a rate of 0.35 Euros per unit (1kwh)]

Water – 0.5 units per day

Please note that for longer stays of 28 days or more the above does not apply. Water, electricity, gas has to be paid as much as consumed. This is subject to one's own consumption rate.

Maximum Occupancy
The maximum number of guests is strictly limited to the number people booked. Cot and highchair are also available upon request.

Guests.
NO other guests are allowed to stay in the property at ANY time. If additional, non-paying guests are found to be staying or utilising the facilities you will be charged one night per person accordingly.

Events and Parties
Events and parties are allowed on the condition of pre-approval and subject to additional costs and cleaning fees. Any event without pre-authorisation will be considered a breach of the rules and charged accordingly.

Inclusive Fees
Rates include a set of linen per bed & 2 towels per person. It is up to one's discrepancy to wash them as often as desired using the washing machine available for use on the property. Cleaning of the apartment is done prior the check in and after the checkout.

No Daily Housekeeping Service
While linen and bath towels are included in the rental rate, daily maid service is not. However, it is available at an additional rate, thus if needed kindly contact us. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the property. You can be charged up to 20euro per linen/towel should they be soiled or damaged.

Falsified Reservations
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.

Written Exceptions
Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

Music & Noise
The sound limit should not exceed 60dB at ANY time. At this level you can enjoy the music without annoying the neighbours. No music should be played before 9:00 am or after 8:00 pm. We understand you are here to have fun and we will do our outmost to help. However excessive noise such as screaming, shouting or similar behaviour should be avoided.

Parking
Parking on the road is permitted at no additional cost.

Drainage and Septic
These home is on a combination of normal drainage and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products or any other materials other than toilet paper have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged with damage fees of up to two hundred euros (EUR200).

Guest Access
Meeting point is at the apartment with one of our Reps. Details regarding your check in will be sent over to you a few days prior your arrival. Should there be any change or missing details please do inform us. Check-in is very flexible - normally at 14hrs to the latest 22hrs. Any earlier check in has to be upon request and confirmed via email. Later check in after 22hrs is also accepted provided that we are allowed to organise the transfer. Transfer fee varies depending on the number of people. Should one decide to opt for another mode of transportation after 22hrs, there will be a 35euro host fee payable on check in to the host.

Wifi
Fair Usage Policy - This is sufficient for all normal activities, e.g. web browsing and emailing, but may be exceeded if there is a significant amount of activities such as video streaming. If more download capacity is required then it may be possible to purchase additional GBs. Please note: any illegal internet activity, e.g. peer-to-peer file sharing, will result in the internet access being closed down for the duration of your stay.

Perfect location in the city centre of Sliema! In the night sometimes noisy. Good size for two/three persons. The electric kettle and one light in the bedroom haven't worked, but it was okay for us, because we didn't use it. The holder for the shower head was broken! All other things were super, modern kitchen, good WiFi, Internet Television (many channels). We got a nice package of presents at the first day. We recommend this flat, it was a great time in Malta:)

Naszym hostem była Victoria. Bardzo miła osoba. Pokazała nam apartament, wytłumaczyła wszystko bez pośpiechu-mimo, że było już po północy. Gospodarz zorganizował dla nas transport z lotniska. Apartament jest w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji. Na miejscu było wszystko to czego potrzebowaliśmy.

Great location and very nice Apartment. The apartment is just like in the photos. Near to many shops and restaurants. Our hosts were very helpful (we got all informations we needed) and we also got little present. The WI-FI was very fast, TV with many channels. I can only recommend this apartment.

Room fitted the description. Basic but in a great location. Check in was seamless and professionally run organisation was ready to call on if needed.

Good: Location, it's near buses, ferries, shops, restaurants, bars and pastizzi shops. Apartment itself is very big, cute traditional balcony. Quiet street. Free wifi was fast and reliable. Very clean. Communication with company that runs the place was OK, but once again it's a private company so you have to fit in with them. They didn't wait around for us even though we were no more than 10 minutes later than the time we had provided them with thanks to Maltese buses. Very welcome,large bottle of water in fridge on arrival. Not so good: Overpriced like all accomodation on island, but not their fault. AC barely worked and fan in bedroom only worked with light on. Bed so bad we were scared it would collapse if we moved. Kitchen poorly equipped, microwave seemed faulty and no washing up cloths, tea towels or detergents provided. When we asked for them were told to buy our own, First place in 7 weeks of travel to not provide this. Door from street difficult to open and usually needed to shouldercharge it to get it open. Weird Internet TV provided but unwieldy to operate and little to actually watch.

Upon arrival our apartment was not prepared in time so we had to be moved to another one for the first night of our stay. This was fine, as the other apartment was close and equally good, but the hassle of relocating with luggages in the middle of the night was not the most convenient. The host was kind and helpful and clearly just as surprised as we were about the entire situation. After the initial confusion, we moved back to the originally booked apartment. Apartment was clean, spacious, as presented on pictures. AC worked fine, as did other appliances. Hot water was abundant. Bed is relatively comfortable. An iron and ironing board are available. Area is quiet and very close (walking distance) to central part of Sliema where most shops, caffes and restaurants can be found. Wifi is pretty slow, but sufficient for basic necessities. Parking is impossible!!! Day or night, there is hardly any free spots available. This is a general problem in the area. Electricity is limited to 100kWh per week, any additional usage is charged 35euros extra. This was the first time I've come across this in an airbnb experience. 100kWh was enough for our stay - using AC and cooking appliances sparsely. Overall I would recommend this apartment for a short stay.
