Durga

Hi, I am Durga Singh and I am from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. I welcome all the wonderful people who are looking for not just a place to stay, but a experience of travelling back into time. A cultural experience. I am a very environment friendly green person and my home is an example of how to use alternate source of energy- reduce-reuse-recycle. In a concrete jungle i have managed to revive sparrows, bulbul and Robbins in my garden. We have one of the oldest bio gas plants fueled by cow dung from our gaushala and a successful rain water harvesting plant. We use solar cookers and solar hot water. With a degree in agriculture i ended in a carrier in tourism. I organise and lead tours, horse back riding holidays. I also enjoy interpreting and presenting Rajasthani folk music, history and poetry.
