THE ROOM
Sleep in this room's American queen sized bed that sits below an artisanal lamp made from coconut fibers and wire steel that depicts a local Mayan legend. The room has a private bath and french doors that open to the garden/pool area. There are ceiling fans in both the bedroom and bathroom

POOLSIDE GARDEN
Food is important to us and that is why we have a diverse garden that includes key lime, banana, palm and coffee trees along with mandarins, chiles, peppers, rosemary, basil and tomatoes. Feel free to use these fresh herbs and fruits to make a home-cooked meal.

With a private swimming pool that can be enjoyed night or day, relax under the ramada, dine in our garden patio or lounge in the pool. The garden is full of places next to birds of paradise, lilies and wild iris not to mention amaryllis flowers the size of grapefruits.

I came to Mexico in 2006 after owning and operating Sellwood Cycle Repair for 20 years in Portland, Oregon. Once here, I came across a mezcal producing village in the mountains of Oaxaca where families had been making the traditional beverage from a wild agave for generations. I soon found myself not only friends but in business with the producers and I now sell "Mezcal de Puta Madre" throughout México
