Because I work weekdays in Soho, I'm not available from 10am to 6:30pm. However, we will gladly grab a drink or a meal to share my knowledge of New York City.

This apartment was really wonderful! It's located just a few blocks from St. Mark's Place, which is one of my favorite streets in the city. Daniel and Manon were really great hosts, even though we didn't see them very much it's evident that they put a lot of effort into making this a great experience. They always got back to us with any questions we had, and they made sure that the room had everything we needed. It was clear they go the extra mile for their guests! I will say that the room itself was a little plain, but that wasn't an issue for us since we were only staying a couple of nights. Also, I felt the bathroom could have been a little neater (it was clean, just messy!). Other than that though, I would be happy to recommend this room to others!

We loved our stay with Daniel and Manon. They were very warm and hospitable hosts, with a great feeling for the city and the local neighbourhood. They made us feel at home from the very start, with clear directions on how to arrive as well as being there to let us in at a very late hour. Daniel provided a very cool interactive map to show us where all the cool restaurants, bars and local hipster hangouts are located. They even invited us to a musical festival, which made us feel very much at home. The place itself is a bit of a luxury compared to the dingy hotels and the suffocating apartments of New York. Spacious and airy, with a decorative spiral staircase and an ultra large patio that overlooks the lower east side. Our room contained all the features we needed including built in wardrobes and a ceiling fan. We were also provided with an espresso machine, which gave us the kickstart needed for the New York lifestyle. Amazingly for a share house, the apartment was always clean and tidy. All the (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) respected and liked each other, which also made it a very friendly environment. In short, the perfect setting to experience New York. Highly recommend to everyone. I felt very welcome, Daniel and Manon communicated very well, answered all my questions promptly. It's a pleasant quiet room with a fantastic bed. Slept like a log even with jetlag. The fan on the ceiling was a nice surprise, (better than airconditioning, and no noise) airconditioning was available too. The area is nice, close to Soho, citybikestations and the NEW museum. A nice deli and the native bean coffee around the corner. Loved my stay.

Daniel & Manon are excellent hosts! I stayed there for 5 days for business. Because of my crazy schedule, I did not have many chances to see them but they always made sure if I had anything I needed in the house or my room. The place was comfortable, quiet and had everything I needed for my stay. The location is amazing! There are a lots of cool restaurants and bars, and subway station is around the corner.

Like most people in NYC, we are busy and social people. We tend to be out a lot, but still dedicate time every day to maintain a comfortable, spacious and open atmosphere in the apartment. Please do not hesitate to ask questions! We look forward to meeting you.

Daniel is a dynamic individual who grew up in Montreal, went to UCLA for a year before transferring to MIT where he studied Computer Engineering, but never gave up the bug to perform. After working for Gooogle for several years, he started acting again, did circus and fire arts, started a clothing design company, and is now focused on technology again. He still hasn't lost his sense of adventure....

Manon is originally from France where she studied business. She loves her boyfriend, animals, sun & sushi. Her favorite color is purple. She is extremely kind and warm hearted.
